This was definitely a story that intrigued me from the start and it is so packed with action, it is hard not to stay interested throughout. I wasn’t sure with the synopsis that I would connect to the characters throughout the storyline but I honestly feel as though the characters are very well developed, exceeding all expectations. I would have to admit that there were parts of the storyline where I found myself a little lost and confused. My biggest recommendation would be to enjoy this book without distraction. I have reads that I indulge in before bed, and those that need my full attention on a good day off, The Tears of Boabdil by Neil MacDonald is definitely a 3 star read for the latter!
