What a GREAT book! I loved this work, and can’t wait to start on the others. Is there a better feeling when you finish an amazing adventure story only to discover there’s more to the journey?

This dystopian post-apocalyptic novel features a group of young people tasked with potentially rebuilding the human race after a deadly virus threatens to bring the world to extinction. There are so many great characters and interesting relationships, I was totally hooked and invested in the world on their island. When magic is discovered, the story is brought to another level, and so many possibilities emerge for these characters and this storyline. I wondered if I would want to read this while in the middle of a global pandemic, but I quickly forgot that an outside world existed. Great writing, a must read!
