Shannon’s book touches a wide range of emotions throughout this book with Jake, and also includes helpful tips included in the back of the book. Written in couplets, this book a fun and easy read, and will instill a love of poetry in children at a young age. If you work in pre-k though first grade, this book would be perfect for your class.
