What an enthralling book. I jumped right in and couldn’t put it down. I’ve become a real fan of this author’s writing. I enjoyed how the story developed. It had a nice flow and really engaged the reader’s imagination. Really enjoyed it.
What an amazing story! L.B. Anne weaves a magical tale with amazing characters. The supernatural power in this book is unlike any other. Louella is an eleven-year-old girl. She lives with her Grandpa in south Florida in a secluded area. Lou is homeschooled by her Grandpa. Her neighbor Ma Poo helps take care of her. They are a non-traditional family but family nonetheless.
One day Lou walks into town and goes to the library to do some research on the place where she is told she is from, STOREY. When she uses the computer, the webcam blinks on and the librarian is very concerned. Lou runs all the way back home, knowing she has done something wrong, and wondering what the consequences will be.
It doesn’t take long for her fears of insecurity to take flight in her life. Gramps is taken, and she knows she must return to STOREY. How does she get there? She has to follow the birds.
Take this journey with Lou and enjoy her breathtaking ease with nature.

I really enjoy how the author crafts her stories and this latest edition of the Billionaire Bodyguards series is no exception. Just the perfect balance of romance and suspense. The main characters have incredible me chemistry and I just couldn’t put it down. Loved it.

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is book one in the Kiss Me series written by Danielle Jacks. This is my first Danielle Jacks story and was excited to see what thrills awaited. The story is a fake relationship at the beginning, dramatic in the middle and fantastic at the end. A really enjoyable tale that was relatable and believable. Zoe and Damien are not strangers and events throw them into a fake relationship. Their journey is not without conflict and tension, but wow do they know how to wow a reader. Steamy and seductive, there were many dirty kisses and definite conflicting wishes. So aptly named, the author penned a riveting and sensually arousing drama that captivated and impacted. 4 stars.

I am really enjoying this series. This is book 3, and although characters appear from previous books, you don’t need to have read them to enjoy this one.
Crimson is a witch with wonky magic and it just keeps getting her into trouble. Demon Mike has had his eye on Crimson for a while but hasn’t had the chance to act on it.
This romcom was just so lighthearted and easy to read, that I couldn’t help but enjoy it.
Holly Jackson is amazing at the narration, she just brings the characters to life. Using slightly different voices so you know who is talking.

This series keeps getting better and better with each book, I still need to go back and read the first three because I haven’t done that yet. I really liked Alexis and Sheldon’s relationship and really enjoyed reading their book, the chemistry between these two are almost instantaneous but both have scars from past relationships. The book pulled me in and I did read it all in one sitting. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to read more from this author.

I write novels about love, friendships, dealing with self-doubt, finding where you belong as well as your soulmate. My sister says my books are an airing of my grievances, but I like to think I’m just working through issues via my characters to help my readers work through theirs. Either way, the bumps along the road gave me a lot of material.
I’ve been writing since I was a kid, but my mom made me show her I was serious about it my senior year when she signed me up for writing conferences to see if I’d sink or swim. Who knew I’d finally feel like I felt in somewhere…well, fit in-ish. I love reading, TV, watching strangers’ IG stories, and lipstick.

Emily Brumville has been placed up for collateral against a bet that her step-brother made. He was sure that he would be the winner, but he lost on the last role of the die. Although the marriage between Emily Brumville and Phillip Beckley Benton, Earl of Lenbridge was not expected to happen they do try to make the best of it. As they get to know one another and make a go of their marriage there are those that are trying their hardest to sabotage them. Will this fledgling marriage be able to weather the storm? Who is behind trying to tear these two apart? Everyone is a suspect when strange things start to happen and they all have a good reason.
This was the first time I have read anything by this author and I enjoyed her writing style. I especially enjoyed Emily’s character. All the characters were great, but she was my favorite. Though she was young, she was determined to make the best of the situation she found herself in.

THE DEVOTED FAN (21st Century Courtesan Book 5) by Pamela DuMond
Oh my goodness. What a spectacular ending for this series, I truly fell like it couldn’t have ended any better or differently. I would find excuses to read when I should be doing other things like working because I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I had figured one part out but not all of it and holy cow was I surprised. I was a little sad when I finished it since I knew it was the end.
Evelyn deserves happiness and it won’t come easy for her. She has done so much good throughout the series and she finally gets some of that back.
I loved this book and hope to read more by Ms. DuMond in the future.

This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill typical Fantasy Romance, this story delivers the kind of twist of fate and heartache as the synopsis has given.
With knowing it is a trilogy, there is a lot to introduce and touch on in the first novel. Lilly did a great job with intertwining plots and characters smoothly; she is very creative in how she can move between different characters and their varying points of view. I did although; take the time re-read the first few chapters to ensure I did not confuse character plots or any of the story lines.
Lilly has created an intriguing variety of fantasy characters, which makes the novel hard to put down. She has definitely got me craving for more; I will be following this author!

I used to shy away from YA novels thinking I was “too old” to enjoy what they had to offer. I dont remember when or how but I finally accepted that some of the best books I’ve read have been from this genre. I say this to tell you that when I say I loved Chameleon by Zoe Kalo, I don’t say that lightly. I was drawn to the storyline from the very first page and stuck around for the creepy vibes and intricate characters. I would give Chameleon ⅘ stars, it was not like anything I’ve read in the past. While this was my first read by Zoe Kalo, it definitely won’t be my last!

Romance novels, especially steamy ones, tend to be my least favorite genre. I steer away because so many plots are overly cheesy. I have read enough from Via Mari to know her writing checks off all the boxes and Elusive is no exception. Supsense, characters with depth, a storyline that you don’t want to put down. Via Mari knocked it out of the park again with the fifth book in her Billionaire Bodyguards series. 4 out of 5 stars and another installment to a series I definitely recommend!

Great start to a series. This story definitely has some twists and turns I did not see coming. The plot flowed so easily in this book. I love the chemistry between Susan and Eric, even though Eric is a bit set in his ways and stubborn, there is not denying their attraction. When a Walker family member passes away, there are family secrets that come out…..and I was shocked on some things that do happen (I wont give them away). This was a easy read and and I did not want the story to end!

I have never loved a series SO much… Even though it ripped my heart and emotions apart! Luciano is still in the hospital, but he’s alive! Lexi and Lucca’s love for their children and each other help them through his time there. Just when you think they will FINALLY see happiness it is torn away from them yet again! Lexi shows just how strong she can be while Lucca tumbles into the abyss. The story twists and turns until nothing is recognizable. Have they lost their light? Will they lose each other as they try to find their way through the darkness? I am both excited and terrified for the final part of this story! I love these characters so much that I hurt with them and hope for them. Please read this series! You will not regret it!

Blue Summer Part One by Everly Taylor is a fantasy paranormal story that is a fast pace and quick read at 133 pages. The story is full of sexy blue men. Blue men sound familiar? It is full of drama and suspense, fantasy and romance, sarcasm and wit, and magic. The premise of the story is interesting but things seemed a little rushed. That could be because the timeline of this tale was only about 48 hours give or take but it felt like there could have been so much more to take it to the next level. Don’t get me wrong the story is engaging and fun and I enjoyed it.
I am going to read part two and see where it takes me.

Kaysee and Dominic Belluomo are the heart of the book. So many twists and turns to keep you riveted on the edge of your seat. The author has a great grasp of adding humor to difficult situations. Dominic’s past comes back full speed ahead. You get knowledge of the past of each Kaysee and Dominic that adds more understanding to the story. A brutal love story for the modern day vampire.

Cursed Whispers (Broderick Coven Book 3) by AJ Renee is a paranormal romance story. As with the other books in this series it is captivating and engaging. AJ is the consummate paranormal storyteller and I have not read one of her books that I have not been ensnared by. AJ’s world building and writing style makes it easy to get lost in the story. With shifters and witches, magic and mystery and fated mates this is a story that will keep you engrossed.

Elusive: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 5) by Via Mari is one of my favourites. There is lots of explosive action and deadly suspense, danger, and secrets. I love the alpha hot and sexy men that go above and beyond to protect. They are sexy and charming, witty, and smouldering, dangerous and deadly.
Sheldon and the team have been assigned to protect Alexis when an extremely dangerous man sets his sight on her. It becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse because he will stop at nothing to get her and will go through anyone to get what he wants.

Twisted Secrets is the first book in the Deadly Isles Special Ops Series by Amy McKinley. This romantic suspense is a fast paced wild ride that I just couldn’t put down. The story is based in Hawaii and it just made me want to get away. Riley and Xander have great chemistry and witty dialogue. Amy McKinley is turning into one of my go to authors. I like shorter stories that grab you right from the start and this one does just that. I look forward to listening to the second book in this series.
I have listened to other books narrated by Regan Brown, but this is one of my favorites. Her voice is smooth and easy to listen to. She really brings the characters to life.

What a thrilling supernatural read! I really loved the characters good and not so good. Zoe Kalo really knows how to keep you reading late into the night. I haven’t ever read a story that changed my way of seeing certain things like waterfalls. When Paloma arrives at the convent you don’t know who she can trust. With all the twist and turns you can’t be sure whose story is true and what secrets will be revealed. This is a really great supernatural read!
Susan is a caterer that has been hired for the will reading at the Walker Farm after the grandfather passes away. She meets Eric the eldest son and is intrigued by him from their first meeting. They both have haunted pasts that have somewhat come to haunt them in their everyday lives now. All of the drama started before they were ever born and it is now being brought to light. Will everything play out as it should or will things come crumbling down. Can’t wait to read more and see what happens.

Elusive: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance is the fifth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. Via Mari is one of my go to authors and I have read most of her books. They just keep getting better and better. I love how each book focuses on a specific couple so the books can be read as standalones, but all the books are excellent reads and I highly recommend you read this series in order. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat, with action, adventure, suspense and romance. It follows Sheldon and Alexis, as they meander through sex trafficking, being in danger, hot sizzling romance. This book was highly entertaining and a pleasure to read. Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia Book #1) by Phoebe Alexander was a great read! This is the first book in the Spicetopia series, which can all be read as standalones but go so much better when read in order. I can say that because I have not read them in order. This book is an introduction to the owners of Spicetopia, and while I don’t think it’s the best in the series, it is very good! This book captures you, and makes you want to read more to see just how far Spicetopia goes!
The Devoted Fan (21st Century Courtesan Book 5) By Pamela Dumond writing as P.S. Dumond 5 Stars
This was a fantastic ending to an amazing series. You really should start this series from the beginning. It is so worth it! These books are addictive. With so many twists and turns, the author keeps you in suspense throughout. The story is dark and sexy yet full of hope and love. It was bittersweet reading this book. It was incredibly interesting but I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to fly through the book and at the same time savour every page. I enjoyed the journey of experiencing Evie’ sips and downs, her pain and love. I’m so happy with the way things ended. The author surpassed my expectations with this book. Thank you Ms. Dumond! Dumond – Review by Anna Hirsch
This book is only for those over 18 due to the adult nature of the content and themes which some may find triggering.
Lexi and Lucca are back in another installment of the Luminara series and it is still them against the world, but this time, they have the twins to think of, after their mothers abduction and brutal beating which started the premature labour, four weeks later and they are improving, although both Lexi and Lucca are exhausted they are still a team and still looking after their two miracle babies. This little girl is finally out of the hospital and allowed home, however, their little boy is still in the SCBU unit, although that is a huge downgrade in levels from the incubariot he has been in since birth. They have been able to have family and friends to visit, as well as trying to look after each other, but between Lucca being hands on with most things, Lexi is still trying to get into a routine with breastfeeding, expressing and all the other things that babies need, especially when premature.
As they are allowed to take their little girl out of the hospital, they decide to stay in a hotel across the way so that they can be close to their little boy. They regularly go to see him and are overjoyed with their little miracle bundles. However, they are still reeling from the events and the consequences associated with them, the fact they still need the security detail, the fact that two pasts combined to create a horrific present, the loss of close friends and the seemingly endless media scrutiny surrounding it all. However much they are trying, Lexi is in denial and Lucca is struggling to keep his head above water as well, but they have support all around them and this is something that they will come to rely on sooner rather than later.
On the day that their little boy has his final xray before getting the all clear to come home, they are preparing the baby bag, stroller and necessities while planning the tasks for the day ahead depending on whether the results are positive or negative, while all the time praying that they can take him home, so they check the post and find that an old acquaintance has sent them something which is undesirable, but they brush it off as purely being bitchy. However, when they get to the unit there have been some unplanned and unforeseen changes in staffing and when they ask who is with their child, they find out that it isn’t his normal nurse, but it is another two whom they have known and trust, so Lexi is encouraged by Lucca to take a nap while they are waiting for his return and she is happily asleep in her carrier. Lexi is suddenly awoken in a panic by the sound of Lucca’s voice shouting, her daughter missing out of her carrier and realises that she is leaking all over her shirt, wondering what is happening, she approaches the voices, however, she is horrified to find that the nurses who were meant to be with their son aren’t and that their son is actually missing!
As Lucca crumbles to the ground screaming, wailing and breaking, Lexi is screaming while trying to find her son, but when she sees the state that Lucca is in and that his PTSD and past experiences are coming back with full force to haunt him, she takes control of the situation and starts to deal with the police, security and everything else around her. As he is breaking, she is being reformed into a master multitasker and all the while juggling motherhood, but will Lexi be able to keep all the plates in the air, or will she crumble and break as her emotions cascade around her? Will Lucca be able to come out of his downward spiral and help Lexi to find their son, or will he let his demons get the better of him while he gives up the ghost? This is another rollercoaster ride of emotion as you are hauled along on their journey with them and experience every twist and turn at the same time.
