Peaceful Slumber (Soul Connection Book 1) by Nikki Lynn Barrett – Review by Ashley Dover

Peaceful Slumber (Soul Connection, #1)Peaceful Slumber by Nikki Lynn Barrett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Simon is a loner. He has been seeing ghosts in the last few years. It’s not an easy thing to describe to the people you know. He tried once…telling his parents, but they made him go to therapy. So now, he just doesn’t talk about it.

Today Simon is in a cemetery. Not the best place for one who sees ghosts. He tries to ignore them all, but one stands out. She’s in a wedding dress, and she looks lost. “Zelda” as he ends up calling her is in the spirit world but has no recollection of her previous life. This begins a partnership between the two of them as they try to piece together the missing parts of her life.

Peaceful Slumber is an amazing story. You will love the characters from the onset. They are wonderfully created and as the puzzle pieces of Zelda’s life are put in order, you will be shocked to learn of the depths to which people will go if it will make their life better.
