My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is the second book in the Tapestry of Worlds series. I didn’t read the first one and I was able to follow the story pretty well. I’m sure the reading experience would be enhanced if you had some background from the first book, but it’s not necessary.
As for the story itself… it’s an interesting mix of various genre elements. Definitely a different read. The plot sounded promising, but I’m not sure all of the elements worked together seamlessly. It felt like it was a little scattered – there was a lot going on. To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure how I feel about the book overall, but it’s a very creative idea. I’m giving it four stars for originality and creativity.
