The Earl and the Peahen (The Scarlet Salon Book 5) by Jean Wilde – Review by Terri Jo McAllister
The Earl and the Peahen by Jean Wilde
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Set in 1820s England, Jane Mayfield is running out of time. If she doesn’t find a husband soon, she’ll be too old to marry and be a spinster the rest of her life. Jane has high expectations for what she wants in a husband. Maybe too high, as she is still unwed.
The Earl of Norwich, after months of being away settling his newest estate, has returned to find a woman to finally settle down with. When Norwich and Jane are mistakenly kidnapped, they will need to rely on each other to get through the scandalous ordeal.
