Walker Pride (The Walker Family Series Book 1) by Bernadette Marie. I loved this book so much. I can’t wait for the next book. This is one of those feel good reads that leaves with that really good feeling. This is the story of Eric Walker who is the oldest son of Everett and he is at a point in his life that he is struggling wondering if he’s ever going to find someone to settle down with. He’s 40 and ready. When Susan Hayes moves to town to start her own Catering business she is beginning to love it. Susan has become very happy in her new town and then Eric walks into her life. His family is full of drama, secrets and mysteries. Eric and Susan fall in love immediately. Eric is finally convinced his life might be happy until someone is trying to take over his business and ruin his family. Will they succeed. Will Eric ever find true happiness? Eric is a very debbie downer and Susan is a positive polly so they really do enhance each other. They find out how much they really care for one another when someone actually tries to kill Eric. Read this fun contemporary romance!
