Jeremy Full of Grace by Greta Cribbs – Review by Kayla Bullock

Jeremy Full of GraceJeremy Full of Grace by Greta Cribbs
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When an unexplained plague wipes out most of the world’s population, the remaining people are shocked, scared, and for the most part unable to have children. Leslie, an agnostic midwife, travels the country, desperately seeking someone, anyone, who is pregnant. What she doesn’t expect, however, is to meet Jeremy–17 year old boy who appears to be, of all things, pregnant! Jeremy claims he became pregnant after a visit from the Virgin Mary.

Jeremy Full of Grace was an interesting read. Told from several points of view, it gives a sense of a simpler time, without television, radio, cars, and even hospitals. The story drew me in, and I enjoyed it. Similar to the birth of Christ, Jeremy’s pregnancy helped the characters and the reader discover–or rediscover–what Faith is. Strong, independent characters and a focus on God made this a wonderful read. Highly recommend!
