Moonlit Kiss (A Venice Romance) (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley – Review by Brittany Porter

Moonlit Kiss (A Venice Romance)Moonlit Kiss by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’m thrilled to have discovered Amy McKinley through reading Moonlit Kiss. As my first book from this author, I didn’t know what to expect, and was a little hesitant to start, but let me say that I was blown away. The way this author develops her main characters, Giana and Sergio, and draws you right into Venice with them, is second to none. The tragic history behind this love story just gives the characters more reason to fight for their happy ending. The author has a way with knowing how to include just enough detail to draw you in and keep the reader enthralled from start to finish. I can’t say enough goods things about this book. If I had to make one minor suggestion, I would have liked to see more Italian and French language squeezed in here and there, given the characters lineage, but that’s just my preference. Don’t miss this book!
