The Arsonist’s Handbook: A Gripping Psychological Thriller by L.A. Detwiler certainly grabbed my attention from the very first page. Thrillers are definitely one of my go-to reading genres, and with such an intriguing blurb when this showed up on one of my recommended book lists, I certainly couldn’t pass it by.
Even though it is written in a slightly different style to what I am used to- the journal like writing really added to the overall atmosphere the story created. Throw in plenty of intensity, gripping details, unexpected twists and turns ensured that I was completely engrossed, not wanting to put it down until I had read every last word.
This has been a great introduction to L.A. Detwiler’s work, I can’t believe I hadn’t read any of her work before now- I have been missing out and that is something I plan to rectify right away. I can’t wait to explore her other books.
If you like a gripping read that makes you think, throws in unexpected twists and turns, and keeps you guessing- then this is definitely the book for you!
Happy reading!
Thank you, L.A. Detwiler!
