This exciting historical romance begins and ends in Bittersweep, a small town in 1890’s Texas. Elizabeth returns to Bittersweep as the new school mistress, 15 years after a horrible illness struck the town and sent her family fleeing. As Elizabeth searches for answer to questions from her childhood, she stumbles upon more mysteries than she bargained for.

This contentedly old-fashioned country romance will make you fall in love with the main characters and the surprise plot twist will keep you guessing until the very end. If you have yet to read a novel by Wareeze Woodson, this one is an excellent place to start.
