I just love all the books in this series. In this 4th installment, we pick up 7 or 8 years on from Ouroboros, and we see things through Freyja’s eyes. When some nighttime visitors arrive with unexpected news, Freyja is compelled to get back on the open sea to find the answers to her questions. Lots of action ensues, and this book had me hooked from the beginning. I love the relationship between Cam and Freyja, their individual characters are great and fleshed out so well. This is a great dystopian fantasy, and I am sincerely hoping this won’t be the last for these characters, or this authour!
