Houses of Deception (The Madeline Dawkins Mystery Series Book 6) by Cynthia Hamilton – Review by Karyn Taylor

Houses of Deception (The Madeline Dawkins Series Book 6)Houses of Deception by Cynthia Hamilton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Houses Of Deception is the 6th instalment of the Madeline Dawkins Series by Cynthia Hamilton. This is a series that I have loved from the very first book and this series just keeps getting better and better with each new book. I absolutely loved Houses Of Deception.
Madeline Dawkins (Now Delaney having married her business partner Mike Delaney) and Mike run a detective agency, MDPI, together in addition to Madeline’s party planning business. In this story a couple who have an elaborate wedding anniversary party organised by Madeline and her sidekick Lauren, become the centre of a disappearance/kidnap investigation.
As with the previous books in the series Mike and Madeline are involved in two cases at the same time, making this book action packed and constantly moving. There is always something going on and the action never stops keeping you gripped to the story and entertained throughout.
I loved this book. Both cases that they were investigating were captivating and I really enjoyed reading the way that Mike and Madeline, and their associate Samir meticulously worked through their cases, examining the evidence and trying to work out where to go next.
I really hope that Cynthia Hamilton keeps this series going as I’ve really enjoyed all 6 books in this series so far.
