Drew: Book One of the Perfectly Independent Series by Amanda Shelley – Review by Jules Herbert

Drew (Perfectly Independent, #1)Drew by Amanda Shelley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Drew: Book one of the Perfectly Independent series by Amanda Shelley was such a great read from this wonderful author. It was filled with wonderful characters you loved more and more as you read along. Even the side characters are shown in such a way that you also grow to care for them and want to know more about what is in store for them. bring on Book two I say!!

Drew is a star College Basketball player who is very focused on wanting to get in to medical school. He doesn’t want any distractions derailing his chances of achieving that very important goal. Along comes Abby the Lab partner he chose thinking she fit the bill of not being a distraction perfectly. Boy oh boy did he find out just how wrong he was.
They soon find out they have more in common than they first thought, like the fact Abby is also very focused on her studies and wanting to attend Medical school. What starts as studying together as lab partners soon has the potential to be so much more. What they need to decide is if they can take that chance.
