Forever: A Diamond Doms Novel by Ivy Nelson – Review by Krista Vaughan
This is the conclusion of the Diamond Doms series. Russell and Gemma have an undeniable attraction. She wants him desperately, and she’s a huge pain in the butt for him. Albeit, a HOT one! This is an 18+ Sadistic Dom and Masochistic Sub novel. Encounters are steamy, hot and full of fetishes. A great ending to the series.

Talaith and Kailen’s epic love story blew me away! Victoria Saccenti absolutely blew it out of the waters with this epic love story! I enjoyed The Titianian’s Mate so much that I was expecting this to be a great book as well but it far exceeded my expectations. I was drawn into this magical world from the very first page. The details were so incredible that I could feel all of the emotions flowing between Kailen and Talaith and I absolutely loved watching their story and emotions progress. There was so much action and so many twists interspersed within this incredible romance that I just couldn’t set it down. The ending made me tear up in the best possible way and I cannot wait to read the next installment in this series!

Seelie Kay is at it again with the second book in the Donovan Trait Series, Ye Gods! The Law is an Ass. It continues pretty much where book one left off. With the title as is I wasn’t sure what to expect. Donovan and Shirley are due to be wed in the human world, as well as a Vampire Wedding for the Vampire Coalition. Being a human and vampire joining the Coalition granted the union under 2 conditions. 1 Shirley had to agree to become a vampire, via forced turning. 2 Donovan and Shirley had to agree to let the Coalition control and viable embryos or future pregnancies she has, including conception. Little did they know at the time they were in for a whirlwind adventure to keep themselves and their family safe. I enjoyed where Seelie Kay took book 2. I loved digging deeper into these 2 characters and who they are as individuals and to one another. I felt this book was a great progression and even though it says book 2 of 2, I feel it was left open for a potential book 3. I need more Donovan Trait in my life!

The Law is an Ass! (Donovan Trait Book 2) by Seelie Kay – Review by Beverly Finnie
Seelie Kay wrote an interesting story with First We Kill All the Lawyers. I’m obsessed with everything vampire, so I couldn’t resist jumping into this book. I loved it! Vampires, murder, humor, oh my! Donovan is intriguing, a 300+ year old vampire turned lawyer for the little guy in the human world. Unfortunately for him, someone tried to kill him twice. Not realizing it wouldn’t be as easy as she assumed it would be. Shirley Magnusen, a judge in the Chicago Courts circuit also becomes a victim when an attempt by the same person is made on her life. She’s also in love with Donovan. This story explores the trials and tribulations of trying to find this person who is killing lawyers and threatening their lives. Not your typical go round with vampire fiction. The vampires don’t feed on humans, they evolved to be able to tolerate the sun. Some have even had children. It’s an interesting take on an area of fiction that has evolved rapidly over the past 25 years. Which I love and accept who heartedly. If Vampires are your thing, I beg you to take a gander for yourself. I’m sure it will be intriguing!

The Bow is the third book in the Her Three Immortals series. I highly recommend reading the first two books before you delve into this one, otherwise you will likely be lost on what is happening. This book is not a hard cliffhanger, but there are parts of the story that are left open for the next book to address.
I enjoyed this story. Where the first two books focused mainly on Vanessa’s relationship with Raef and Grey, this book is focused on Aroz. I’m not going to go into details or it will give away the twist, but there is a bit of suspense and danger as you go through the story, because a pissed off Queen of the Underworld isn’t a good thing, lol. There were a couple of descriptions during the intimate scenes that struck me as a little corny, but overall, it’s a great read.
I can’t wait to see how Vanessa and her guys handle the mothers as the story continues in the next book.

I absolutely love most books pertaining to anything “fae”. So, of course, I was excited to read this book by Tricia Copeland. I have never read anything written by Tricia, and I am so happy I did! I loved the adventure and thrill of the story line. I thoroughly enjoyed the build up of the characters and found myself totally enthralled with Titania. I cannot wait to read more in this series!
Titania, the main character is 15 years old. She is the sole survivor after her brothers were killed in war. She now finds herself forced to be the next queen. As you could imagine, this is a hard reality for a fifteen year old to accept, but she finds herself in an intriguing situation where she gets to prove herself.

Lured in by the promise of a racy scene or two I was not disappointed, there is so much more to this book! Debbie Zello has crafted an amazing tale full of layers and intrigue.. each time I thought I had all the ends wrapped up the story would take another turn! Get ready to cheer on our hero, detective Gavin McLeod, as he tries to keep fact and fiction straight. Recurring crime scene dreams lead him on quite the man hunt! With well developed characters, believable steamy scenes and a fabulous storyline, you won’t want to put this one down.

THE GOD (HER THREE IMMORTALS BOOK 2) by HAZEL STORM – Review by Allyson Ware
Queen of the Underworld needs to simmer herself down. I dislike her almost as much if not more than I dislike Professor Umbridge in Harry Potter. She may even be worse than taking a trip to Tartarus.
Once again, I could not put this book down and I cannot wait to jump into the next. Halfway through this book it was brought up again that Vanessa used to be a hairdresser. That feels like an ETERNITY ago. I completely forgot about it and the fact that Ms. Underworld was responsible for destroying her career. I’m going to do my best to take my time reading the next book because I do not want this series to end!

Ye Gods! The Law is an Ass! (Donovan Trait Book 2) by Seelie Kay 5/5 stars
I’ve read a couple books by Seelie Kay and this is definitely an author that doesn’t disappoint. I have always enjoyed books and movies featuring vampires and this was no exception. I loved both main characters, Donovan and Shirley and felt like they were an adorable couple with great chemistry. I like that the book has a little bit of everything, including humor and snark that brought a smile to my face. Definitely a fast, fun, five star read!

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. I enjoyed this fantasy adventure story. This is a well written story about Kailen and the deal he struck with a devil and how far he is willing to go to save his love. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters and what they brought to the story. They are connectable and keep the story engaging. I had a hard time putting this story down. This is a story that is full of action and adventure like no other. I highly recommend finding out what happens with Kailen and Talaith. What is the price to pay to keep them together? I enjoyed their growth throughout the story and how they made me want to know more. This is a really great story that kept me turning pages to the end.

Such a creative, steamy, grab you by the throat and doesn’t let go even after the final page story!!! Gavin is a detective with all the good looks and charm that scores some of the sexiest scenes around! Author Debbie Zello sure knows how to turn the heat up. I was reading this on one of the rare cold days we have in California and I needed a fan!! Gavin is my new favorite superhero!! I cannot wait for the next book. Seriously if you are on the fence get off and get this book, you won’t regret a single moment you spend in the grips of one of the hottest mysteries around!

I enjoyed this romance story. This is a new series and author for me which I look forward to going back to read more from this author and this series. This is a well written story that the author’s use of details made the story realistic. The characters are connectable and bring so much to the story. They truly made the story for me. This is a fast paced romance story about Russell and Gemma. Russell has one responsibility at the moment and that is to keep Holly and Gemma safe. The problem comes in when Gemma is a pain for him on top of that she is gorgeous. Will he give in to the irresistible Gemma and lose focus on his responsibility? I enjoyed the growth throughout this story. The chemistry between Russell and Gemma is great and just made the story entertaining to read. This is a great story which I highly recommend.

This book was incredible! This book kept me on the edge on my seat. If you love crime and mysteries, you will not be disappointed with reading this book. This started out as the wrong place at the wrong time right at the beginning which catches you right away and takes hold and doesn’t let go and when your done your wanting more. There were so many twists and turns that leave you guessing ever time about what is going to happen. A crime with a number of suspects kept me guessing, a girl caught in the middle and no way out. Its we’ll written and really put together. The amount of detail to the foreshadowing left me to my own imagination. The way the author understands the courtroom and procedure is very well written. And finally, a great ending that tied everything together that explained it all. A very suspenseful and wonderful read, I highly recommend this one! I really loved this book. I’m anxiously waiting for more from this new author.

I didn’t think I would really enjoy this book like I did and became engrossed in Tricia’s magical world of the Fae realm in Middle Earth. This book is a plot twisting action packed page-turner of a book. It is well plot written, with lots of action, excitement, danger, intrigue, infatuation love, conspiracy, and doubled by plotting, and backstabbing. Titania is a smart, strong willed and caring. She had to grow up fast in her position and become very brave and to learn to stand up for herself to prove herself over and over to show that she can do this, even thou she is only 15 years old. Dealing with panic attacks, she is a well written character. I recommend this book; it was an excellent read.

The Last Danaan by Victoria Saccenti is the sequel to Titanian’s Phoenix in her exciting fantasy series the Titanian Chronicles. The story opens with Kailen battling Astarot’s horde and dark wizards alongside the young Titanian Soren. Kailen has protection from his love Nadrine, a powerful sorceress. When Kailen notices a fellow warrior had been outnumbered by two strong adversaries, he tries to give aid, only to be put in the sights of a lieutenant. Nadrine interferes, but a dark wizard vanquishes her. From that moment, Kailen declares he will never love another again. Fast-forward to the 21st century and Kailen has attracted the desire of Talaith, a sorceress that has the ability to see memories of others. Despite his attempt to ignore her, he finds himself drawn in and becomes intimate. Kailen makes Talaith his right hand and vows to protect her.
Dubtach, Oras, and Brysys have somehow broken free from the exile realm. Brysys is adamant in reaching Eachann to plead her case. Unknown to many, Astarot had kept the sorceress locked in a cell. From the view of Eachann and the Titanains, she is a traitor due to a conspiracy caused by Eachann’s brother. When Brysys is battling against one of Dubtach’s creatures, Kailen and Talaith come to her aid. The powerful sorceress endures severe injuries, and they teleport straight into Eachann’s home. The vampire doesn’t promise Brysys anything more than to receive treatment and if she stays any longer, he will kill her. This causes a problem for Kailen and Talaith, as they were already assigned a mission in another location. Kailen vowed to never be separated from Talaith, but Brysys has to be taken to Soren’s to recover. While Talaith and Kailen are separated, will he be able to keep his promise, or will Talaith end up like Nadrine?
Victoria Saccenti’s The Last Danaan complimented perfectly Titanian’s Phoenix. I have had the pleasure of reading both books in order and found the developing plot captivating. The characters in the first book still appeared and the connections that Kailen and Talaith had with them continue to develop. I could fully understand the hesitation Talaith had of showing her emotions to Kailen. He did a lot to dismiss her overtures and was distrustful of her intentions. I didn’t expect how quickly Kailen changed his thoughts about Talaith, especially after his vow to never love another woman since Nadrine had died. Eachann’s pain from discovering Brysys is alive is believable, and I would probably feel similarly if a few hundred years had passed since being betrayed. The story’s pace is definitely one of my favorite aspects because it held my attention and I found myself unable to stop reading until I reached the end. The open ending leads directly into another edition of the series. I would recommend this 5-star fantasy romance to any adult reader that enjoys shifter stories. The ability to look through their eyes and see what Talaith and Kailen feelings is effortless and makes this book a delight. I look forward to more stories in The Titanian Chronicles.

The Last Danann (Titanian Chronicles Book 3) by Victoria Saccenti 4 Stars!!!!
I mean where do I start? Wow just wow. I really found myself lost in this one as the story evolved. I like how the author is able to combine different paranormal storylines and bring them together. I like the use of Norse mythology.
I could really relate to Talaith and I was glued to the pages to see the romance between her and Kallen blossom. I really like how there is a good mix of drama. The whole good versus evil is betrayed really well. The author has a refreshing style that brings the characters off of the page. The drama plays out and you feel as though you are right there with them. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

Lawyer Donovan Trait and Judge Shirley Magnusen are back and it is the day before their wedding, Donovan is doing his usual as he pursues a case for those who cannot represent themselves and is filling the courtroom with his usual pizazz, so as he has an early finish, he decides to visit his bride to be while she is on a break. He asks her why she hasn’t taken the day off to prepare for the wedding, she responds that his mother has helped with it all, but that the minister is flapping a bit and that he should call him, but soon Donovan is his usual irresistible self and she is totally swayed by it, at least until she is called away.
As the day of the wedding dawns, Shirley is getting ready and is thinking about her turning, about what it will mean for her future and how happy she is with the whole situation, apart from maybe the press and paparazzi who will be waiting outside. They next head to meet with the Vampire Council so that they can give their final blessing to their union, but Shirley is feeling a little light headed and nauseous, but she just puts it down to wedding jitters, what with all the pomp and ceremony, however, she has to have a health appointment just in case it is to do with her turning, but what the results reveal to Donovan is about to change their lives again. It turns out that Shirley is pregnant and as much as they want to shout it from the rooftops, they decide to keep the news quiet until after the ceremony, which they immediately regret when they are called before the Council for a trial.
The opening statements are made, the evidence is presented, as well as the reasoning behind why this isn’t a breach of the marital agreement they made, however, the Council has other ideas and they deem the Traits as guilty of breaching their marital agreement and as such drastic punishment must be meted out, instead, the Traits flee and make their way to an island run by Vampire Nuns, but will they be able to keep out of reach of the Vampire Council, or will their growing family be torn apart before they even have a chance to live? This is a paranormal romance with an edge of danger and rebellion as you travel along the path the Traits are forging to reach calm waters and the safety they crave.

This book was great new take on Cinderella and definitely not like another retelling. The author does a wonderful job of really pulling you into the story. I hadn’t read the description of the book because I’m a sucker for fairytale retelling so it was a surprise to me to find out the prince has a husband! Sad it leaves you on a cliffhanger but I can’t wait for the next book! Review by Autum TalamanteView all my reviews

The autor did a great job with the construction of the world and the caracteres are so real, and the stoline is just absolutly fantastic, yopu get a bit of all the world and genre so it make it much better and even if you get a taste out of all… is not overwalming or confusing. great book and great story. we need more of this in the books world.

A great mystery story. I liked following Emma’s story as she figured out her mystery. The historical parts of the book were interesting. Emma is quite feisty and ambitious for her time. I will have to go back and read the first book. This one did pretty good at filling readers in on what had happened before though.

A very sweet yet tangy romance story. The characters were well developed. I found Kayla funny and relatable. This book had me laughing a lot. Tanner was a really sweet character. A very enjoyable read.
The Bastard Prince (It’s Raining Royals #2) By Alix Nichols
4-stars
The Bastard Prince was a fun and witty read, it’s the second book in the It’s Raining Royals series, a series that I believe should be read in order as this book sort of plays off the first book, so for reader enjoyment I would recommend starting with book 1.
I love how this author writes with such detail, making everything play out clearly in my mind with each chapter. I really enjoyed the witty banter between the characters, it kept me on my toes and laughing out loud.
I look forward to reading more from this author asap!

I love Rowan as a character. Her sharp tongue and willingness to fight make her unique. I love Rowans hatred of being tamed. The romance in the book is intriguing and fun to read. This was a really good read. I look forward to the next book.
