Unsettled Scores by Kel O’Connor is one of 2 amazing books that I read this week (the other being No Way Out by Amy McKinley). Unsettled Scores is the 2nd book in the DAG team series by Kel O’Connor. This was the first time that I had read any of Kel O’Connor’s writing but it certainly will not be the last as I was totally hooked by this book and didn’t want to put it down.
Although this book can be read as a stand alone, I do think it would make sense to read the first book in the series before it. I know that I now want to go and read the first book to see what I missed.
Unsettled Scores is the story of DAG team member Amy who is out to avenge the death of her sister, and Hugh, the handsome lawyer who hires DAG to investigate when drugs are found at his mother’s charity.
Amy is devoted to her job and set on avenging her sister but she doesn’t expect the distraction of gorgeous lawyer Hugh who she has to work closely with to solve the case.
This book is well written, with fantastic characters and a storyline that flows really well and has you gripped from the very beginning right up to the very end. 100% recommend.
