Colors of Darkness: Ability Awareness Activity Book by Feather Chelle – Review by Jenni Bishop
Colors of Darkness: Ability Awareness Activity Book by Feather Chelle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is the story of one woman’s view of the world from her point of view with not just hers but with those who have a disability. We get an inside look of what it means to be blind and appreciate how her world is affected and how to adapt. We can close our eyes and try to imagine but we truly have no idea. It is unique, insightful and interesting and an eye opener as you read the poetry and words and try to imagine. It is also an invitation to children and adults to see the world of others with activities. It shows that even in darkness there is colour and beauty.
