Dahlia is a pretty strong shifter. She’s gone through some challenging stuff in her life and here comes this crap that is leading her back to home. She is facing the challenge hea don. With a supporting cast of characters, Dahlia is a well-developed character. Though a shifter, it is easy to empathize with her because some of her personality is easy to see in yourself. Her supporting case helps to keep the story moving without chop. The action keeps you glued to the pages. I found myself not really wanting to put the book down to sleep. It was engaging and kept you wanted to find out what was coming up next. Loved the ending. Highly recommend.

This series is without a doubt my favourite of 2021. I was moved beyond comprehension. My heart broke. My soul wept for this couple. I fell in love with these remarkable and courageous characters. I have read so many books I have lost count, and this story has made such a profound impact on me, I am having trouble getting into another book. This story contained more emotions and struggle than any other that I have read. The battle relentlessly continued. Minute by minute. Hour by hour. Day by day. Will and Tori faced unimaginable uncertainty, with courage, determination and an endless love for one another. It was bone deep sadness yet blindingly beautiful in the tragedy of it all. I will never forget the feeling of reading their story, and am just so thankful that I found this series. Written with such precision and propriety, it was a privilege to read. I honestly do not know where this talent comes from, but am I ever thankful for the opportunity to read such unforgettable stories such as this one. This story owns my heart and has given me everlasting memories. 5 stars.
A sweet Christmas is a lovely cute story. The characters are great and it had me hooked, I could not put it down. Thea owns a bakery and thought she would never find love that is until she meets Benjamin and he knows what he wants and that is her.

This was a bit of a bittersweet read for me knowing that this was the last instalment in in the series, but also desperately wanting to find out what happens. I absolutely adore this series- it has made it onto my list of all-time favourite reads! I really wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters or the ‘world’ that this incredibly talented author has created…. So, imagine my excitement when I got to the end of the book and found that there are more books planned, to come, that will be set in The Three Immortals Universe- I literally squealed at my kindle when read those words. Sooooo excited!!!!!! CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!! The Box is the highly anticipated fourth instalment in the incredibly addictive ‘Her Three Immortals’ series by Hazel Storm. This is the climatic conclusion to Vanessa, Grey, Raef, and Aroz’s story that we started back in Book One. This was everything I could have hoped for and more!!! The story had me firmly in its spell as I devoured every word- it’s so incredibly good!! Like I said, I am beyond excited to find there are more stories to come from this universe- happy happy happy dance!!! The Box continues from where we left off at the end of Book #3- so if you haven’t read the other three books yet, I highly recommend that you do so before starting on this story, as they contain important details which you should know in order to fully appreciate this book and the series as a whole. Again, as with the other three books, this is a brilliant paranormal romance- a delicious RH story that sizzles right off the pages. This fantasy is full of adventure, action, suspense, agendas, plots, wonderful world building, magic, drama, danger, Gods/Goddesses, mythology, fate/destiny, trust, emotion, prophecy, and so much more. In this instalment, Vanessa’s new task is to fill a small golden box with ‘eternal beauty’ and return it to the icy goddess- easy peasy, right? Well, not so much. To complete her task, Vanessa will need to get to Tartarus, the hottest, nastiest part of the underworld- climb to the highest peak, and then persuade the old goddess who lives there to fill the box with eternal beauty. Enthralling series I just can’t get enough of this series. Absolutely attached to the characters and the whole world of realms. More often than not by book 4 I start to lose focus in a book series or I find the storyline starts to become stilted but that is definitely not the case here. Each book is refreshing and has its own flavour. Book 4 finds Vanessa on another mission for an untrusting goddess and navigating her new found connections with the gods. Romance, humour, action and mythology had me glued to the pages. I just didn’t want it to end and now I am eagerly awaiting more. So if you love paranormal stories, characters that you will fall in love with and on-point world building then this author and series is for you.

Yesssssss……. I waited very patiently for this read and I was not disappointed. All the right romance with just a bit of humor. Kat and Phillip are relationship goals. As a series fanatic I love that this continues the story from book one. This is not a standalone, read book one. How long would you wait for your soulmate? I never thought I could love time travel so much. I loved book one, this is even better. This author sucks you into the romance to the point that you root for it to be successful. The suspense is unreal, you think you know what is going to happen and then it keeps building until boom! The climax had me speechless. Five stars across the board. Thanks to this author for another amazing love story. This is a must read!

This book was amazing, I really enjoyed so much. At first, I was really trying to figure out what was going on and thought for a second the book was going to go in a different direction then what it did. The way it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time and wanting to know what happened next, I just couldn’t put it down. There is a lot of abuse and sexual contact, so there very well could be triggers for someone that has been thou this, especially for a woman. But the way Liz handles herself and fights thou all that she is put thou and finds out with her family, she is such a strong and amazing woman. Macros love for her thou really shows her that she can overcome anything that happens or will happen to her. I’m so glad I picked this book and read it. The twists and turns the action and love story all in one. I so enjoyed this book and the story it told.

This was such a good book. It definitely needs a trigger warning; there are graphic and detailed scenes of violence and sex. I was kept on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading this. Heart racing, wondering what was going to happen next. It was dark and twisty, with excellent attention to detail. The development of the characters was amazing. I enjoyed the writing style. My attention was quickly grabbed and held throughout the entire book. I really enjoyed reading this, and this author has a new fan. I can’t wait to read more.
An epic finale to the series. This book picks up exactly where the last one left off. Vanessa has her 3 men and she is evolving into her true self. However, things are never easy when it comes to her life. She is once again sent on a whirlwind quest on the behalf of one of her Monster-in-laws. This time her adventure takes her to Tartarus, but with the help of her closest friends she will face this trial like all of her others. With sass, kindness and bravery.
I loved this entire series but I think this book was my favorite by far. I’ve thought that of each one, but I really mean it this time! We get to see Vanessa grow into her destiny and become the woman she was always meant to be.
This series had beauitful world building with the Underworld and Overworld, and brilliant characters that steal your heart. Vanessa is pure and beautiful inside and out. Her three men are all unique and strong in their own ways. Gorgontia is an overlooked “monster” but so loyal and caring. And PK, well she is just the sweetest and prettiest kittiest!
This is a must read series for all of you romance fantasy fans! **P.S. this is a spicy RH series**

Elizabeth Finely was planning and doing “research” for a book she planned to write about secret service agents. But she had no idea what trouble she was about to bring into her life. Liz faces many obstacles and is thrown into a very dangerous life. Becoming a secret agent will be way less dangerous than the life she has been kidnapped into. I love reading the dark mafia genera of books and this author had me hooked from the first page. The descriptive language and imagery were real. I felt like I was standing right next to Liz. I look forward to reading more books from this author and truly hope that there is a sequel to this book.
What can I say? I love this series every single book and I’m so sad to see it end! Trust me I plan on reading it again! This series also inspired me to look into other fantasy/romance series that tie into Greek/Roman mythology. The Box was the perfect end to the Her Three Immortals Series! I’m still partial to Grey and I always will be but Raef and Aroz have stolen my heart as well, which is another reason I want to go back and start at the beginning. To view those two characters through different eyes that aren’t fixated on Grey. It blows my mind what the author did across four books, everything that happened in such a short period of time was incredible. The Box has us coming full circle sending Vanessa full circle on a mission given to her by none other than her arch enemy from book one, Alfia, Goddess of Beauty. It just so happens to be the final task that will have her fulfilling the prophecy which will make her immortal. There’s just one problem: not only is this task in the Underworld but it involves a trip to Tartarus to fill a box with beauty from the highest mountain. I was so excited to read The Box, and it ended perfectly. Now I’m just sad that it’s over. Oh well, time to start over again tomorrow, in saying that. Yes you really should read all of the books in order because you may get confused. It’s also the best way to enjoy this author’s work of art. Because isn’t that what writing is, it’s a form of art, that the reader never knew they needed in their life!

I’d like to start out by saying this isn’t for everyone, there are some very graphic scenes that can be hard to read. I personally loved this book. I really do enjoy it when a character who has been brought down to the bottom, has to rise up regardless of the situation and that’s exactly what Liz does. She overcomes every obstacle that’s thrown at her! This book was thrilling, the plot was so good and the twists were epic. Overall it was a fast pace, action packed adventure that I know you won’t be able to put down! I definitely give it 5 stars.

This book style was a favourite of mine for so long and it seemed like they just fizzled off the face of the earth so when I started reading Conveniently Yours I was HOOKED. Caspian and Paisleys story is captivating and the emotions I felt were so raw. Love love loved it! Get it fast, you don’t want to miss this really amazing, romantic book!

This is the fourth book in this series and definitely not a standalone. Be sure to read the previous books to get caught up on the events that led up to this finale. As with the previous books, I loved the world building and the unique characters. A couple of new types of characters are introduced in this book and I loved the way they were worked into the story. Of course, there are old favorites like Gorgonita and PK as well. You ‘ll definitely be hooked as you read about Vanessa’s final harrowing adventure! If you made it to this book hopefully you read the first one titled, “Silent Gavel” first. The book can be a standalone but it ways make more sense if you read the first one before this. You can get a better feel for the characters and understand why things are happening as they are. In this second installment we once again follow Lauren Besoner as she tries to rebuild her life after past events left her with too much trauma and needing to seek professional help. This time she is doing freelance work after leaving her last post of official court reporter due to the fact that she could not see working under her ex-husband Tony. She gets called in to report for a deposition of contested mental capacity of the chief of police’s mother regarding the ranch and all her assets. Shortly after she receives a call because the report is no longer needed to to the death of Ms. Archer. The police arrest a suspect quickly but after talking to her friend Dominick Lauren believes that once again the police have the wrong person. Lauren gets called in to be court reporter for her ex-husband in the case as the official reporter is on maternity leave. From the start things are not adding up for Lauren and she decides to do some sleuthing because she believes justice is owed and won’t rest if someone innocent is locked up. Throughout this book things about Lauren’s past are brought to light and she must learn that they do not define her, and she shouldn’t be judged for the actions of others. In this case is Lauren right about the accused? Can she make it through this trial without getting put on another killers hitlist? Loved this book. It is very easy and quick to read. In the beginning Caspian (Cass) thinks he is the unlovable guy from all his past trauma, who is also a multibillionaire running his uncles company, Archer Industries. His Uncle Preston tells him he to marry some one or he does not get to inherit the company. Paisley is our girl next door who is trying to juggle everything on own, including trying to pay for her moms medical care after her accident. She is also a girl from Cass’ former life. Paisley runs into Cass at the hospital and they form a plan to marry for a year and a day, so he can inherit his company and she can have her moms medical bills cared for. Will they be able to make it a year or did they get in over their heads?

There is something to be said about an author who can make a necessary yet often overlooked court stenographer job and turn it interesting. This was a homerun by the author as an intriguing whodunnit with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. We start out meeting Lauren Besoner an extremely likeable and relatable character who finds herself in a bit of a jam after finding Judge Murphy’s body. Once again thrust into drama that she has tried to avoid since divorcing her ex-Tony. She now finds herself the primary suspect in the middle of the murder investigation by detective Sam Overstreet and his boss chief of police Ray Newell. She knows she didn’t commit the murder but now she must launch her own investigation since the police do not seem to be looking at anyone else. Is she being set up and if so by whom? What will happen if the killer believes she is getting to close to the truth? Can Lauren make it out unscathed or become victim number 2? This book will leave you on the edge of your seat with many predictions on who the killer might be. Can you figure it out before the police do? Read this book to see just how good your detective skills are!

An intriguing and engaging murder mystery thriller, and once again the author had me gripped from page one. I enjoyed being back with Stenographer Lauren Besoner, and in this story she goes from reporting the words in a murder trial to trying to prove that the man on trial is actually innocent. Lauren is reporting on the biggest murder trial that Crawford has ever seen and the judge also happens to be her cheating ex husband, Tony. Lauren’s instincts are that the wrong person is on trial for the murder, and she soon has to decide whether to put her job and her life at risk to ensure that justice is served, or carry on and say nothing. Lauren decides to discover the real murderer and when a second murder occurs she realises that there is more to the case than even she thought. As she searches for the truth secrets from her own past are exposed, but she’s determined to find the real killer. This legal thriller had me fully immersed, as the courtroom setting and all its drama was brought vividly to life by the authors knowledgeable and descriptive narrative. Lauren is once again a realistic and likeable main character who brings the story together. The exciting storyline and plot twists kept me guessing until the end as to the identity of the killer. This was a real page turner of a read and I really hope there will be a third book in this series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery, crime thriller which had me hooked from page one. Court stenographer Lauren Besoner has returned home to Wyoming hoping to put her broken marriage behind her. Lauren’s newfound stable life comes crashing down around her when she arrives to pick up Judge Murphy for work, only to discover her murdered in her own home. After calling the police and answering routine questions Lauren realises that she has become their prime suspect. Her case is not helped by the fact that there seems to be a link between the dead judge and Lauren’s cheating ex husband. Lauren is determined to prove that she is innocent even if it means solving the case herself. In trying to track down the killer, Lauren puts herself at risk of becoming their next victim. I was gripped by this fast paced novel, the murder, crime storyline was full of suspense and the plot kept me guessing until the end. I loved Lauren as a main character and felt she brought the story together. The characters and setting were brought to life by the authors descriptive narrative, and you could tell that the author has a background in the legal profession by the small details she’s added which made the story have a very real feel to it. I felt immersed in the story and was happily turning the pages late at night to discover the killer’s identity. A great first book in a new series, and I look forward to book two.

This book was not what I was expecting, but I was not disappointed. I love the author’s writing style. It is incredibly easy to follow along, and even though the author repeated quite frequently throughout, it is well written. Repetition is not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion, because I need reminded of certain things and the author does a great job of doing just that.
There are a plethora of individuals that I would recommend this book to. Introverts would benefit greatly from reading it, extroverts would learn something from it, and anyone seeking magic in their day to day life will love this book.

This book is such a steamy and sensual story. I hadn’t looked what this this story was actually about when I started reading, instead juat going in blind. I was so surprised to see the dom in this situation was female but I really enjoyed that variation. It gave the whole book a refreshing feel to it and certainly caught my interest. The characters have such a strong and dynamic connection that the story feels completely about them. I was pulled into their journey and really enjoyed reading about them. This is a well written book that grabs your attention. I would definitely say it is one to add to your TBR list!

Stenographer Lauren Besoner is back and this time she is working freelance, but she is desperate to earn some money, so when an opportunity comes up to report on murder trial in her own home town of Crawford, she jumps at the chance. The only drawback is that she has to work with her ex husband and she isn’t looking forward to that in the slightest, she only hopes that she can put her negative feelings aside so that she can do her job successfully.
As she arrives at the courthouse ready to set up, she has to go to her old office and with it her ex colleague, who seems to be as useless as before, however, eventually, she sorts out the paperwork, powers up and connects her machines. She is surprised to hear who the victim and accused are and how quickly it has been brought to trial and as the testimonies start, she is wondering whether they have accused the right person.
The more she thinks about it, the more things start to not add up and as she starts to investigate further herself, she is more than sure of her convictions, especially when a second murder occurs. As she asks her own questions and puts together her own evidence, she has to ask herself whether it is really worth jeopardising her job to prove somebodies innocence and are the secrets it is dredging up from her past life going to remain hidden to all but her?
Will Lauren be able to convince anyone of her way of thinking, or is she going to find herself another heap of trouble? This is another thrilling mystery full of hidden truths and contentious behaviour which will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout.

Urban fantasy is not a genre I really read, I’ve tried a few but they just didn’t appeal. However, after reading the synopsis of this book I thought I’d give it a try. I ended up really enjoying this book. It brought all of the elements of a novel from other genres that I would love with a little fantasy twist. The world-building was seamless and the characters are so well written that you got sucked into the story. You come to a point where you find yourself considering why it would be so odd if this were actually happening in our world.
Dahlia Nite is the kind of female character that I love -snarky, strong, smart, and she can handle herself. She does what needs to be done to catch the bad guy, even if it isn’t completely legal.
The story starts off when we first meet Dahlia in her natural world of dragons and shapeshifters. Things come to pass that cause Dahlia to flee her home, landing her in our world. The bulk of this story is written in the modern-day, urban world, though we do run into characters from her homeland along the way, just enough to complicate things for Dahlia.
Dahlia works as an arson consultant with the local police, after all even a shape-shifting half-dragon needs a job to survive in our world. The police are working on several cases of supposed “spontaneous combustions” that have everyone on edge. Dahlia knows it’s someone from her land but that’s all she truly knows, and she isn’t really looking to explain all of that to the police.
This book includes more than one murder and more than a bit of psychopathy, which is what I like. The storyline includes a lot of complication and messiness that keeps you guessing. Even for those who don’t think they really care for fantasy or urban fantasy; this is a good one to try out because it might just change your mind.

This book was so much fun to read. So much adventure in Tartarus, you know, the Underworld. The story is the final book in the series, book 4, and must be read in order. This series is worth reading. I love that the heroine, Vanessa, is strong and that she stays true throughout the series. I love the way she loves her men…gods. I love how she can handle everything the mothers throw her way. I love how she figures out she is strong enough when needed but still able to lean on the ones she loves.
The extra characters of Gorgonita and PK were fun to read about. Being able to assist Vanessa in her adventure to fill the box makes these characters even more lovable. Reading about each god and his ability and connection with Vanessa was hot and not safe for work. The ending to this story certainly gave closure for neighbor Dorian, Vanessa’s family and her soul.
Definitely recommend this book and series. Looking forward to seeing what else this author writes.

I love me a Christmas story and this one was no different, really sweet. I really liked the author’s writing. Loved Benjamin and Thea’s story. A very good cute little Christmas story to get you in the mood for the Christmas season.
A novel with a little feel of a modern Cinderella. She’s broke and the offer comes for a good life. Should she or shouldn’t she? The character’s are pretty well-developed and the plot moves along well. There are obviously challenges that she gains the strength to get through. A bit of spice and a bit of romance make somehsood romance for those that like this type of romance
