Book 2 keeps a great pace in the series. This time around the story centers on Enzo and Sofia…best friends, love interests, willing to stay away from each other to protect the other. This is it’s own stand alone novel, but I think it’s better if you read book 1, as there are a few familiar characters and connections that improve the overall experience.
This author offers characters with nice development, a robust backstory, plenty of intrigue and romance to keep you following. These books make for a pretty quick read, as they are hard to put down! Check out the series!
The tender scars on her abdomen throb as memories of the attack come rushing back, flooding her mind and sending her heart racing…
Psychotherapist Neve Keane knew that returning to work at the hospital after being stabbed by a patient would be difficult. But entering her unit only to be surrounded by a crowd of people claiming they need her help to stop the apocalypse—that’s more than she bargained for.
When the crowd’s leader turns out to be a mutual patient of Neve and her best friend, streetwise Irish doctor Cornelius O’Brien, they are both pulled into a Byzantine plot that transforms Capitol Hill General into a dangerous place where threats and betrayals lurk around every corner.
Then their mutual patient falls into a mysterious coma, and the clues he left behind lead Neve and Cornelius straight into Washington, DC’s ugly underbelly, a world of shadowy political forces with long arms and deadly intentions.
As they race to unravel the threads of a sinister conspiracy that leads from their hospital all the way to the White House, Neve and Cornelius realize they might be fighting to stop the end of the world, after all—provided they can survive the week with targets on their backs.

Book four is the best book yet! Addicted to anything mythology, my most anticipated read of the year and it was AMAZING! This series is one of the best ever. And if you are having problems with your mother in law, hold tight Vanessa will show you the way. This is a sexy fun read and we have characters to die for. Picking up from book three, I didn’t put it down at all. What is in the box, what is the next adventure? All questions answered! The ending is living in my mind rent free this series is complete and I will reread it over and over again. This author took a strong female, threw in some gods with a perfect twist on the mythology we love! Book four was the best. I would appreciate a prequel to know all about the men that make this series classical.

This story has started off with a bang! Marriage of convenience is one of my favorite tropes, and this was another one of those amazing stories. Caspian and Paisley were a sweet couple, and it took time for them to get that HEA, but they got there. Caspian is devoted to his work and in order to secure his CEO position must find a wife. In comes his childhood friend Paisley. What starts of light soon becomes pure fire, and they are quite the couple. Paisley becomes exactly what he needed and vice versa. This was a great book and great start to this series.

The series has come to and end and its very bittersweet. I feel so invested in all the characters and the journey until this point. Such a beautiful story and such an epic end to it all. If you have not read the first 3 then you must!! Vanessa and her 3 Gods finally found their HEA, and it was dramatic, steamy, and worth every obstacle along the way. This has to be my favorite book of all.

This book strongly impacted me. Trigger warning for readers, there is kidnapping and torture along with sex. Knowing this, I still wanted to jump into the story. It is very dark, but I love Elizabeth Finley. She is a strong woman who gets back up every time she gets knocked down. She suffers through so much and giving up is just not in her. I have come to really enjoy dark Mafia stories, reading about the stuff we know happens but stays hidden in the shadows. It amazes me some of the strong people that rise above the hardships that are encountered. It makes me want to be a stronger person.
Like the previous three books in this series this book was a perfect Greek mythology book to read this weekend. This final book to the series was packed with so much emotion, drama, steamy scenes and of course all of our favorite characters. While I was reading through this final novel I found myself thinking that there was no way that Vanessa and all of her friends stories could get wrapped up but boy was I wrong. The ending to this series is possibly one of the most perfectly ended stories I have ever read. But will Vanessa be able to aquire the box without the help of her three Gods? Will her God’s finally face their mothers? If they do will there be consequences for them and for Vanessa? You’ll have to read the book to find out for yourself.

I have been trying to branch out lately and read books that are very different than my typical go to genre of psychological thrillers. I am not a religious or particularly spiritual person, so I went into this book with very minimal background knowledge. Reading this book for me was purely out of interest, not necessarily to follow the practices. That all said it was very enjoyable! It’s fun to look into a different way of life and I assume those more knowledgeable than myself would find it to be a great read as well.

Caspian is given an ultimatum that threatens to take away everything he has worked for. Paisley is struggling and just can’t get ahead. The outcome is a story that I just couldn’t put down! At the start of this book, I thought this was going to be low plot, high smut, which has its time and place so I would not have been upset. I didn’t expect to feel so much for the main characters or their struggles. The story took a turn and tugged on some heart strings along the way. Definitely still a spicy book, but the love story makes it that much better! Will be keeping my eyes open for more from this author, no doubt.

I thought this book was a great read. Luke is in a band with a few other men who are like family to him. Luke is going thru some stuff and he can’t help all these feelings he has. He is a widow but, he’s not alone. He has his beautiful daughter he needs to care for and love.
Nikki is a nanny who is going thru some stuff Also. Everyone has a past but, not everyone can’t leave that stuff behind and start fresh. I thought this book was perfectly written. There was a lot of info the author gave the reader so nothing was left to questions. I loved the characters and I love how this book came together. Definitely a 5 star read for me.

Starting out, this book got me with the synapsis. I started reading and it drew me in even more. Getting to read about the Italian magic was interesting. Seeing the female lead going through struggles to what she thought was mental illness and turned out not to be was thrilling and amazing. I’m glad I gave this book a chance. The writing was done beautifully, and I could see the book playing in my mind. The story progressed at a well pace, it wasn’t too fast or too slow. The characters were relatable and I could connect with them. I suggest reading this book and giving it a chance! You won’t regret it!

Wow! This is my first book by this author and I loved it! If I could give it ten stars I would! She really knows how to build a world that makes you see every stunning detail in your mind’s eye. This story is told in first person POV but the intricacies of every character are well fleshed out. I read this book not once but twice, back to back because I wanted to absorb absolutely every single detail. Dahlia Nite is such a strong character and brings not only her world, but our world to life in a way not only leaves you wanting more but leaves you wanting to read it again just to take it all in. Full of fantasy, fun, wit, violence and intrigue you won’t regret giving yourself over to this urban fantasy tale!

I really enjoy books of this genre. Caspian is one of those alpha males that you love to hate. Usually, the alpha redeems his behavior but that didn’t really happen with this book. That is something different and I’m not completely sure how I feel about it. Especially since I loved Paisley so much. I would definitely read more by this author and would love to see where other storylines fall in this series.

Caspian and Paisley have known eachother since they were kids. Neither grew up in the best of ways, but Paisley always seemed to get along a tad better than Caspian until he was saved by his Uncle Preston. Fast forward many years later and Caspian is now a multimillionaire and Paisley is an up and coming artist who’s mother was in an accident and is now in a coma. A chance meeting and a stipulation in a will bring these two back together again in a marriage of convenience. Will it end in true love or is it destined to fail from the beginning?
Vanessa has to steal eternal beauty for Alfie, but she has to go to Tartarus to get it. I got this book and later realized it is the fourth book in the series. I’m obsesses and now need the first three books.

Full of very dark and confronting violent and sexual scenes, but oh so good. Not a read for people with triggers. I could not put this book down from the moment I picked it up! The unbelievable chemistry, emotional pull and whirlwind pace had me hooked… My heart was beating outside my chest most of the time. Character angst can go either way for me but this was just so well written.
I loved everything about this book! The author has created so much depth in the story, I was sucked into the world created within. Suspense, Action, Drama and Magic- it has all the necessities for a perfect fantasy novel and written beautifully. I love the intrigue and mystery put into the main character Ian, and his development over the course of the book. Definitely a must read for Fantasy lovers.

I have read the first three books in this series and I have really enjoyed them but I think book four is the best. This is a hot and steamy paranormal book with a little bit of mother-in-law troubles(lol). This author does an excellent job of pulling you in with her writing, and you won’t want to put it down. The characters are amazing with their little quirks it makes them seem real.
I can’t believe this is the last book in the series and I can’t see what this author has in stored for us. Maybe we will see these four in the future….

Vanessa Maan is back and is still surrounded by both mortals and Immortals, more of the latter mainly and some of whom she wishes she wasn’t around, but after she wakes up with her gentleman Raef in a sumptuous bed, she prepares for the day in more ways than one. Unexpectedly though, she finds herself hungry, which is unusual for a dead person, however being away from the Underworld can apparently do that to you, so after she eats breakfast with Raef, Grey and the newly reunited Gods Aroz and Antaroz, she goes to pick up the object she needs to return to the Underworld, but it looks different and before she knows it, she is being whisked away again!
When she arrived at her destination, she can’t believe her eyes, it is the hairdressers she used to work at, however this one is made of ice and as soon as she enters it and comes face to face with a other Goddess she has annoyed, she knows that another task is probably coming her way. She isn’t wrong and this time it is the Aroz’s mother and it turns out that this Goddess wants some eternal beauty and is sending Vanessa to collect some in a specially made golden box, but the kicker is that she has to go to Tartatus to get it, yes Tartatus, the place where monsters of all kinds go to die.
Next thing Vanessa knows is that she is in the ferryman’s lift and off back to the Underworld and without her men to keep her company, all the while they have been trying to figure out where Vanessa is and what she might be doing, Grey has an idea and takes Raef to the human Realm whole Aroz decided to go and see his mother.
Grey finds that he cannot leave the mortal realm thanks to a contract which he has to see to completion, so that leaves Raef to find a way of getting to Vanessa himself, but a friend helps him to get to her. Vanessa meanwhile is getting some friendly and not so friendly advice of how to get to the tallest mountain in Tartatus and see an old crone about some eternal beauty and once the party of Gorgonita, PK the prettiest kittiest Underworld Moth and Raef, now he has convinced Vanessa to let him come along despite the danger are ready, they set off on this next adventure.
Will their mortal souls be in more danger than ever crossing Tartatus and will they fail at the first hurdle, or will Grey and Aroz be able to come to their aid in time? This is a fantasy romance with action, annoying goddesses and sexy Immortals galore as this adventure flies across the realms in this gripping series finale.

The Box: A Greek Myth Paranormal Romance (Her Three Immortals #4) by Hazel Storm
This isn’t the first book by the author that I’ve read. Each of the Her Three Immortals books keep getting better. The Box is about all of them and is an amazing book. The author knows how to keep the readers interested.
Vanessa is sent from her Gods and is now in front of Aroz’s mother. As Vanessa puts it, The Ice Witch (change w to b) sent her on another task after destroying the vial. Now Vanessa’s got to appease both the Ice Witch and Grey’s mother. The quote I chose for Vanessa is: “If I’d been thinking…Ugh. It’s not like I didn’t know he was alive and that Gorgonita turned living beings into stone. I just got used to not having to worry about it in the Underworld, and…Poof! Raef appears, alive and well, until I introduced them.”
Grey is worried about Vanessa when she disappears from him and his brothers. He then says that he’ll talk to his mother while Aroz talks to his mother. Grey is stuck in the Other world until Dorian completes his end of the bargin. The quote I chose for Grey is: “Dorian. Forget it. You have twelve hours to find your last tainted soul. And remember, they must be willing. I will not sign a contract with anyone who has been coerced. I’m going to get some rest, assuming your mother will let me back into her house. Call me the moment you’ve found your final candidate.”
Raef is tired of being mortal while his brothers are immortal. He tries to off himself once he knows that Vanessa has been sent on another mission. The quote I chose for Raef is: “Disaster averted. Vanessa, please don’t blame yourself. I knew coming here wouldn’t be a garden of roses. At least looking at Gorgonita didn’t turn me all the way to stone, so I’ve plenty to be thankful for.”
Aroz goes to talk to his mother only to be trapped. He is trying to get out of the cage so he can help Vanessa. His mother doesn’t know that he and Bow are now one. The quote I chose for Aroz is: “You are my lioness, mia bella. But I will get myself out of this mess. Worry about your task and keeping yourself and Raef safe, and let me worry about escaping my mother. I promise I’ll come and help you as soon as I’m able.”
