Loved Loved Loved this finale of this series. The eldest in the family and the doctor. The author was so dynamic in her story telling of this book. I literally could not put this book down. As always you get glimpses of all your favorite characters in this book as well. The closeness and struggles that come with most families. This book will have you riveted to your seat as you wait for the next foot to fall. The author does not disappoint in any way. This is a must read. I’m just sad that these wonderful characters have come to an end. I could read about them for much longer.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. Her books always pull me in from the start. They are well written and her use of details make her stories realistic. This book is no different. I loved reading this book. It is a fast paced, engaging story that has characters that not only bring the story to life but are also unique and creative. This is the sixth book in this series which I highly suggest reading all of the previous books to help your enhancement of this series and this author’s writings. This is a romance-suspense story that I read in one sitting as it is that great. The characters are not only steamy but have great chemistry and growth throughout the story. I had no problems connecting with them and they made the story entertaining to read. This is truly a great book and a must read. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is a suspenseful mystery that I enjoyed. It is a fast paced story that is full of action. A story where Detective Lexi works in a department that is totally working against her. But she is determined to bring a child killer to justice. This is a story full of secrets not only for the killer but also for Lexi and Xavier who could lose their jobs or even their life for this case. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters who are relatable. I enjoyed Lexi’s character the most as she is a determined female who goes after what she wants. She made the story fun and entertaining for me. This is an engaging story that was hard to put down. The twists and turns had me turning pages fast just to see what would happen next. I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.

I loved this author’s writing, they made the story flow so easily, it was so easy to get hooked and lost in the story and the characters, there was so much to knot, and a want to know so very much more! I loved the character growth I saw, the sorry was interesting and yet addictive at the same time!
I think the thing I loved most as well as truly enjoyed about this novel, is the emotions that went along with this book. With Lazarus and his love, you did not just hear the words he spoke of how he felt about her, you literally lived it. It was a mind sweeping romance of love and passion, that was more than real, and was something so easily to visualize! I loved the emotions the author made the reader feel!
The suspense the novel gave me regarding Lazarus and his life style was so intriguing, honestly I have to say it was off the wall amazing. From passion and romance to danger and action, it was the perfect bundle of what I wanted. This book was very enjoyable and freaking amazing! It kept me hooked on every word and every turn, it was a great, fun and fast pace read, loved every minute of this ride.
I loved this book truly, and this is one if your into the romantic suspense reads as I am you for sure will devour this book as I did. This author is truly gifted and knew what they were doing as they built the story and plot! Amazing read! Defiantly a high recommendation, this one is very much worth a read!

What an emotional Rollercoaster just like the first book. Sometimes I have to take a breather for the tears I shed. Then I’m addicted and just want to read next page. Life, love, and death don’t discriminate against age, when its your time fate will show you.
This book is the continuation of Will and Tori’s story. This book continues the emotional rollercoaster ride that was started in book one. Will and Tori start out on the journey we all hoped would come to fruition after the first book, trying to build a life together post-cancer. The story carries the same depth and emotional wisdom that the first did and still draws together a truly compelling story that keeps you turning the pages to the very end.
I feel like some parts of the book lacked some grounding in reality, which I understand given that this is a fairytale scenario romance life. The author had shown such depth with her writing in the first book that I thought maybe she wouldn’t fade as far down the fairytale path as she did in this one. Let’s face it, no matter how much you love someone and what kind of situation you are in, you aren’t going to go from sick in the hospital to living together full-time without some bumps along the road. I would have appreciated seeing more conflict between Tori and Will as they settled in together, rather than the automatic perfection that the book drew.
Also, the sex scenes. I’m not a prude and I hate to harp on this because I know it is to be expected in a romance novel, I just felt it overtook the story at some points. We get it, they love each other and are happy to be together, but I felt like every two or three pages we were back in bed with them, or in the shower, or on the floor…the storyline was built well enough that readers could have gotten the message and been engaged until the very end without spending hours discussing all of their passion. Overall, I still liked the book and would be interested in reading more of the author’s work, this one, while just as well written and emotional, didn’t grab me the same way the first one did.
This was such a bittersweet read for me. Having read all the previous instalments, I connected with this band of brothers and looked forward to following each one as they got their own book. So, knowing this was the last book in the series was a little sad- I was sooo not ready to say goodbye…. But at the same time, I desperately wanted to know how things would finally play out, but more importantly, getting a front row seat to the ‘Oz’ show- and what a fantastic show it was!! Ms. Kells definitely had me completely engrossed in the story- I devoured the book in a couple of hours, just so I could find out what happens. King Bastard is the sixth and final book in the Dark Sparrow series by India Kells. It is an addictive romantic suspense- full of action, adventure, tension, danger, chemistry, intrigue, gripping developments, emotion, drama, complex characters, sizzling encounters, romance, family dynamics, agendas, and so much more. As expected, the story is superbly written, with a complex and multi-layered storyline that was so much more than I anticipated. What a way to wrap up the series! I loved every intense minute!! I highly recommend this book- but if you have yet to read the rest of the series, I really recommend that you do as each book helps to build a bigger picture- trust me- you will find that one story is not enough! Prepare to develop an India Kells addiction! Even though this instalment wraps up this series and I am sad to say goodbye, I know Ms. Kells will have something amazing in the works that will be just as enjoyable and addictive as this series has been. She never fails to deliver the goods! So excited to see what she does next! Happy reading!

A cute story about growing up and the difficulties that come with it. Right from the start, the book had my smiling. It started out so fun and quirky and I was immediately hooked! Once the story progresses, it actually hit on several really serious topics and even pulled a tear or two from me! I went from giggling along with the quirkiness of the main characters, to suffering, to frustration, and back again. Some parts were so captivating, and other parts were a bit slower to get through. I loved the ending and how everything was wrapped up. My only complaint is that I would have liked to experience more of the ending, maybe a few more interactions with the characters at the end and some idea on where they were headed. It felt like the ending was the start of the new beginning I had been hoping for the two characters! Perhaps there will be another book… I guess I can dream!

Practically Pagan- An Alternative Guide to Magical Living offers an opportunity to explore real world magic in a wonderfully written self-care manor that is accessible to anyone wishing to use magic in their life. As someone who is interested in magic, but not sure where to start, I found this guide to be a helpful start. It’s a reminder that we all need to break down the societal rules we take on everyday and unlearn the trauma that we have experienced, to find the spark within us. Although there were some spots of repetition, I found it useful and a great reminder as I worked my way through the guide. Easy steps for each portion of the guide helped to make learning everyday magic do-able and less daunting, especially as a newbie. I truly enjoyed this book and am always excited for new releases from the author, so I definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in the joy of everyday magic.

We found some of the experiences overwhelming as this is not how we are used to precving the world the book gives a great insight onto how others lives who have blindness. Dead Sound was an awesome read that takes you on an adventure. Neve is a psychotherapist just returning to work after being stabbed by a patient. She returns to quite the scene as she is surrounded by patients claiming she is the one to stop the impending apocalypse. With the words of one of her patients and the help of Con, her best friend and fellow doctor, she is thrust into a plot that has betrayal in the center of DC politics. I highly recommend beginning this new book series. It will sweep you up in the fast-paced plot and leave you wanting more. I’m looking forward to the next in this authors Things Unseen series.

This was a great dramatic story with love intertwined with sadness and loneliness on several levels. The author did a wonderful job at developing a core group of characters who the readers can’t help but invest their own feelings and emotions into. I felt the frustration and pain through the characters, while also being able to feel the joy. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mix of friendship and love throughout a police investigation and the struggles of the characters involved.

I have had the pleasure of reading several books in this series and I cannot get enough. I absolutely loved everything about this book. Zeke and the twins provided more laughs than the Vegas guys alone would have and if you have read any of the previous Satan’s Devils books you know these bikers are funny on their own and like giant children.
I loved getting to know Red from his humble beginning (Book 1) to where he is now as President of the Vegas Chapter of the Satan’s Devils. I was also able to connect dots in other storylines in the series and I love meeting new members and possible love interests.
I love this author and series so much and hopeful that with all of the babies this first generation has that we will never have to say bye to the Satan’s Devils.

This book picks up right where the first one left off. I have absolutley fallen in love with all the MC books by this author. The depth of the characters, the depth of the situations, the way they care and show they care. It is just awesome to me. Red is no different. For him to find the woman he fell for 15 years prior and to discover the things he has discovered and for Red to accept the things that are brough to him. It is just cool to watch how he grows to makes those he is president over understand. This book is fabulous with all of its details and dynamics. KLH

Red’s Peril Part Two : The Prez’s Old Lady is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC Vegas Chapter. With each new chapter and each new member we get to meet I become a bigger fan. This author is an amazing writer her attention to detail and her characters I freaking love them all. They are all unique and each have their own story and this author makes them come right off the pages. My goal is to go back to the beginning and re-read everyone one in order. Im literally running out of things to say about this author. I highly recommend reading this book and any other books by this author. This is part two of Red’s and Cheryl’s story and it picks up right where book one left us. Get ready to be taken on a fast paced journey . Find out if these two can overcome their pasts and the secrets she carries can he be patient enough while she figures things out for herself? I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Our paths have entangled again, he broke my heart but can he forgive the secrets I have been holding deep in my past for so long.
There she is again, the feelings are still there but will she be able to understand my lifestyle and accept who I am today.
This story picks up straight after the first book and answer so many questions that was raised in the first instalment and you really now see these characters as they have grown up over the years. I love how these characters compliment each other and show there vulnerabilities with an openness and you are just willing them to get together.
The whole story was well written and drawn you back into the story from the first words read, I also have a infinite for the secondary characters which added another dimension to this wonderful book. I have to say that the author addresses some topics within the story with dignity and inclusivity which is breath taking to read. I would not recommend reading this book within out reading the first one, although the story flows you do really need the background to these people to full enjoy the book.
I can’t wait to read the next book from this wonderful author and may the books keep coming.

This book is absolutely amazing! I enjoyed the first part of Red’s story and his background with Cher and the MC but part 2 really blew me away. It deals with some really deep issues that I wasn’t expecting but drew me right in from the very first page. The author is amazing for handling such a sensitive issue and handling it so sensitively. It really helped me to see things that I wasn’t very familiar with from a different perspective and it made me love this book all the more. This book is full of romance and action as well and has a twist that had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen. The ending was so perfect that it made me tear up and swoon. You should definitely read part 1 first because then you’ll be more familiar with who everyone is and it will make a whole lot more sense. This book is a definite must read!

Is the second book in the new Las Vegas chapter series. It is a spin off from the original series Satan’s Devils where we were first introduced to Red and one book I have been anxiously awaiting. I absolutely love these bikers and this is the second part of Red’s story. The author just keeps on giving when it comes to these men and women and there is never a dull moment. It is not just reading a story, she makes you feel that you are a part of the story and living it side by side with the men and women who have become family. Sometimes an audiobook helps to bring a story to life and other times it makes it more difficult to fully enjoy the story. In this case it definitely helped bring the story to life. Right from the start the listener (reader) is captured inside a world full of wonder. The main character is a Shinree, a race that has the ability to use magic but it comes at a cost. Any time they use magic it costs not only life around them but it feeds the individuals addiction. The main story takes place 10 years after the war in the prologue and shows the world after the cost has been paid.

Red’s Peril Part 2: The Prez’s Old Lady is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC Vegas series (which is a spin off to the original Stan’s Devils series) by the talented Manda Mellett. MC romance is definitely Ms. Mellett’s wheelhouse- but I imagine she would excel at any genre she chose to write. This is the second part to the story we started in book one- so if you haven’t read book one yet I highly recommend that you do so you don’t miss out on important details. As I said earlier, this is a fabulous MC romance with plenty of interesting elements, quirky characters, edge of your seat developments, drama, twists, agendas, mystery, friendship, camaraderie, emotion, and more… After reading the first book, I was well and truly hooked, and couldn’t wait to get my hands on part two. This was everything I could have hoped for, and more. Looking forward to reading ‘Warts an’ All’ (coming soon)…

I am new to this authors work. This may be a love/hate relationship. With a very complex plot an very large time jump the story falls into place, keep reading. The story of a girl marked for death on the day of her birth. Omens, witchcraft and secrets. This story takes place in the main characters past and present. The detail that the author took in explaining the story is amazing and worth the confusion of setting 100% These characters are my new friends I know them so well. Half way through I finally caught on to the time aspect and the entire story came together. If you are a fan of witchcraft and suspense love to be left wondering this is a story for you. I feel that I know the main character I am really falling for the female ear trope. Expect the unexpected. This is a solid four stars.

What an amazingly beautiful story of women of the past and present! This is like multiple stories combined into one fantastic tale. We begin with Annie’s ancestors and what their life was like. It is so vividly described, I felt like, I was right there. It is a story set in the old country, giving us a set up to the present. Then we are back to present day and Annie. Feeling stuck and at a crossroads, she takes a break from her life and learns so much.
The people are what make this book phenomenal. All of them — both of the past and the present — are unique and add to the story. This is a story of the endurance of women over the years through love and loss, and everything that comes between. It makes you stop and be thankful for who and what you have. And to never stop believing.
I am so happy to have found this wonderful tale and be immersed in it. It brought joy to by soul and I highly recommend it to those who like women’s fiction with a bit of magic mixed in.

Another great read. This book picks up right where book one left off so it is my suggestion you read that one first. It is also my suggestion you read all the Satan’s Devils MC books because they are awesome and you will get to know more of the men and their journeys. Red is such a good man and I was hoping he would find happiness with someone. Cher and Red have changed a lot since they last saw each other and they definitely get tested in this story. This is an emotional read full of action, twists and turns, romance and I even learned some things that I didn’t know and I’m glad I am more informed. This author is always a must read for me, I am never disappointed and the writing style always pulls me into the story and gets me completely invested in the characters. I highly recommend this book; it’s a definite five star read!

I loved how book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off. This continuation of Red and Cheryl’s story was truly one wild ride of emotions. When Red and Cher reconnect after 15 years apart, so much has happened, but their love for each other never faded. We meet Red’s son, Zeke, the emotions on how Red felt of missing out on the first 15 years of their life made my heart melt. Cher did a great job raising Zeke and all that Zeke had to endure being nonbinary. Mix in Red and Cher with their rekindling flame of feelings and raising a child along with MC drama of someone’s vengeance against Satan’s Devils and you have one wild ride of a book that was hard to put down! Such an awesome book!

This was a great sequel! This book picked up right where Red’s Peril Part one left off. This was a great continuation of Red’s and Cheryl’s story of finding love and staying together and I loved the ending. Definitely could be some triggers for people so be wary when picking this up. I’ve said it before about this series and I’ll say it again, each story (this one included) takes you on a journey that is usually action packed and can be emotional. Each book just keeps getting better and better to me and this one was so exception. Kudos to the author and I can’t wait to read more in the future!

This was a really good book! This was probably the most interesting of the series I’ve read so far because the author went back and we got to see how Red became a president of an MC and it actually showed a lot of backstory. Like most (if not all) of the books in Satan’s Devils series this book was emotional, dark with some opportune humor thrown in there. I absolutely love this MC series and this book was no exception! This book does end on a cliffhanger, as it is part one of a two part story.

Intense, dramatic, and one hell of a great suspense read! The characters are intense and brooding. You can just feel the emotions that come off them. Lazarus just sends off what he feels for Sasha. You feel everything. The plot just grabs you and keeps you engaged and not wanting to leave. This author is another of my favorite. Her books are very engaging. This series has been one of my favorites to read. I definitely recommend you get out and give this one a shot. You won’t be disappointed if you like action, suspense and romance. I’d give it more than a 5 if I could.

Being half human half dragon is much harder then it seems. Then to be exiled. Can you imagine? I would love to be half and half. Best of both worlds. I would blow fire for the fun of it. And if in danger circumstance change to dragon form to protect my body. I love this book I never thought to be half dragon and human.
