This is such an incredible supernatural romance. I love this book so much! Levi and Tasha are such incredible characters. They’ve been taught from birth to view the other species as the enemy, but during their first encounter, their hearts somehow recognize the truth that they aren’t enemies at all. This is a perfect example of hating what you don’t understand and just how wrong preconceived ideas can be. They’re drawn to each other and can’t resist the other even though it could kill them if they’re found out. There’s so much danger surrounding them and it just seems to continue to get worse. I was on the edge of my seat from the very first page to the last. If the next books in this series are anywhere near as incredible as this one, I cannot wait to read them.

Brilliant conclusion I am conflicted because I am content with the ending but I don’t want the series to end. I absolutely love Tasha and Levi, they balance each other out. The barriers they face just keep coming but they push through them together. The author has really bought their A-game with this series – with drama, romance, action and paranormal – I was in my element. This is a series not to be missed – highly recommend.

This right here is pure paranormal perfection!! All the stars!!!! If I could give this book more than five stars, I would. This series has definitely been a highlight of the year for me. Going into this third, and final, instalment in Tasha and Levi’s story was a little bittersweet for me. After everything that has happened, I NEEDED to know how things would play out- but at the same time I was not ready to say goodbye. I was torn between devouring the story at a breakneck speed to find out what happens- with the other part of me wanting to take things slow to savour every last little detail and make it last. Forbidden Moon is the highly anticipated third and final instalment in The Shadow Chronicles by C.R Robertson. As this story continues on from where the previous book left off, I highly recommend reading the previous two books before starting on this one. Trust me when I say you will definitely want to know all the thrilling details that happened previously, before continuing the adventure. This is a fast-paced, action-packed, adrenaline fuelled, paranormal romance, with a complex, multi-layered, and addictive storyline. The story is incredible, with vampires, Lycans, demon hellspawn, witches, sizzling chemistry, secrets, discoveries, politics, agendas, drama, danger, paranormal beings, battle scenes, violence, adventure, sizzling encounters, fated mates, and a little myth & legend. Again, Ms. Robertson has SLAYED it!!! Another spellbinding read that captured both my heart and my imagination. I just love her take on Vampire and Lycan lore, she definitely knows how to tell a completely compelling and highly exciting story. This may be the end of Levi and Tasha’s story- but the author made my day/week/month by revealing that there would be more books coming (SQUEEEEEEEEEE)- ‘spin-offs’ that are set in this ‘world’. Colour me EXCITED!!!!!! Day made!!!! I CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!!! On that note, Ms. Robertson- I NEEEEEED Kimber’s story 😊 INEEEEEED Radar’s story 😊 I NEEEEEED Spencer’s story 😊 I NEEEEEED Dominic’s Story 😊 Ooooh and Tristan, and Remus, AND Oscar- 😊 I could keep going, but pretty sure you get the picture…… Seriously, if you love fantasy, paranormal romance, or just love being immersed in a spellbinding adventure- then you will really want to get your hands on this book/series, STAT! I love detective stories. I enjoy trying to figure things out with them. Top that with the pain and past Lexi tried to bury deep within herself and the trouble it was causing her with work, I was hooked. I needed the bad guy to get caught just as much as she did. As a parent it was rough hearing about the cases. But it made me connect more to the story. Despite the real reason Xavier was transferred to Lexi’s department I kinda hoped a romance would bud. This story definitely keeps you interested. I also like some of the references that let you know it takes place in current time.

This author has fully bewitched and enchanted me. This amazingly detailed world that the author has created has me caught up and wishing this wasn’t the last book in the series! I can see many avenues that could be taken to extend this series (yes I am whining because it’s over!! ) Spoiler Alert : I really enjoyed how the culmination of events led to them finally ridding themselves of the hellspawn. Game changer!!! Holy script flip!! I did NOT see that coming. First of all if you missed book one GO read it now, first. These books really need to be read as a series not stand alone novels. Levi and Tasha are back and the accords will show the strength of the bond between vampires and lycans. This book was a suspenseful 4 star read. This was my first read from this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Her writing pulls you right into Xavier and Lexi’s story.
Lexi is on a mission to capture a child killer. Xavier joins Lexi as her partner in the investigation. When these two meet there is an instant attraction, can Xavier keep things professional? How would Lexi feel if she really knew who he was and the real reason he has been assigned to work with her. What will happen when she finds out his secret?
Will they be able to find the killer before it’s too late?
Overall I really enjoyed this book. We get suspense, emotion, drama and so much more. My emotions were all over the place. I really liked both of these characters. I can’t imagine being a detective and having to deal with the things that these two did. They had a great connection as well. This is the third book in the series, and I ABSOLUTELY love this author!! I have read the previous books and knew the story, but this could still be read as a standalone. I love Levi and Tasha’s chemistry and that they fight for their relationship even though it is forbidden. Fighting against common evil helps solidify their love, they have been through so much together. I will miss these characters, am very happy with how this series ended.

This was a really good read! And I very riveting and fulfilling end to Tasha’s and Levi’s story as well. I enjoyed going on this journey with them and I’m very glad I decided to pick this series up. This book picks up right where the second one left off, so it’s not a standalone series. This one was romantic, and suspenseful, and enthralling. I could hardly put it down. It was very well written and descriptive, I felt the words coming right off page into images in my mind. I was easily lost in this book. I hate to see this series end but loved the ending itself. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

From the first page, this book brings you into the emotions and attachments felt by our characters and it keeps its hold all the way through. Jared and Madison are magnets drawn to each other, unable to resist the pull. Christopher is the central point that brings them together, and so many aspects of him lead to the many peaks and valleys of this roller coaster ride.
These characters feel so relatable and flawed and natural and beautiful. We have so many people throughout our lives that trigger these same emotions and desires and moments – they feel like home, like our own lives. Jared and Madison have so much chemistry, and yet are so afraid to explore it. Christopher is suffering dementia and his happiness is so bright when he is happy that it is blinding. This book brought me to tears multiple times – throughout so many interwoven aspects. Healthcare needs and the health of our loved ones, the ways it can affect how we treat others, the way it can feed into fears of needing and loving someone, the ways our parents can make us feel, even as grown adults with thoroughly chaotic lives of our own. It could have been almost any of our stories, but told so much more beautifully than I think we would have remembered our experiences.
I’m looking forward to going back through the first 2 books of this series to see what ties together and what is standalone, but I didn’t really feel like I was missing anything reading this as a standalone. I think I found a new favorite author!

Wow, what an emotional roller coaster! The lead character Kirsa goes through so much. This story took me back to high school and how hard it can be as you’re growing, having to deal with big feelings, and trying to find where you belong. I’m amazed that Kirsa kept going when she had no friends to talk to or confide in. The story kept my attention and I kept reading to find out more. There were some tough points that got me emotionally. Overall, it’s a great story that brings up some hard things that makes you want to do better and be that person someone like Kirsa can lean on.

I’m a sucker for a good romantic suspense story and this author definitely delivered that for me. The storyline kept me on my toes and was filled to the brim with drama, mystery and plenty of romance to. The author does a wonderful job of keeping a perfect balance of all those things and more. The characters draw you in and keep you reading. I couldn’t put it down and loved every minute of it. I’m definitely going to be looking for more from this author. Lexi may be one of my top characters for this year. It’s well written and paced nicely. Four big stars and highly recommended!

First off this story is a wild ride full of emotional and physical suspense. The cat and mouse analogy seems to tame to even describe what the author has pulled off with her writing. Our main character Lexi is deemed a loose cannon at work, someone the bosses are trying to force out before she damages the reputation of the force or costs them a lot of money. Meanwhile Lexi is just dealing with past traumas that she can’t seem to outrun from the loss of a kid to her husband who committed suicide in the home they shared. Enter Xavier Knight who is brought in to test Lexi’s demeanor and see whether she is truly fit for duty or the loose cannon that everyone thinks she is.
Xavier is assigned as Lexi’s new partner in his undercover work with internal affairs as he evaluates Lexi. However, their first case throws them and their relationship into a tailspin when it is the body of a young boy. Once again Lexi has to confront the same man that her husband lost his battle to Book. Tempers flare while the investigation is happening and to avoid further lawsuit after a confrontation at the station with Book, Lexi and Xavier are pulled from the investigation. Xavier finally starts to realize that the department is forcefully trying to remove Lexi even though she is a good detective. He also finds that she may be right about Book’s involvement in the boys murder and agrees to investigate him with Lexi in secret. Both Lexi and Xavier are trying to hold their secrets close to their vests but what happens when they come to light? Will the ticking time bomb they are tiptoeing around implode taking them down with it? Or can the bring a murderer who has bested them to justice? This is one of the best books I have read this year and will look for other titles this author has written. Her characters are dynamic, the storylines explosive and the twists and turns keep you coming back for me trying to put all the pieces together before the characters themselves do.

Book two didn’t skip a beat. Absolutely picked right up where we were left off in book one, and this was just what we were all waiting for. Zeke was a so well written new character, they most certainly deserved to be in this book. Never thought I’d learn something about nonbinary people in a fiction book but here we are! Kudos to you madam author. I am all for it. Ready for the next book in the series as well. Highly recommend reading this series so far, if not more of the other Satan’s Devils MC books, I have yet to be disappointed.

This book has so many interesting elements—a great storyline, fantastic characters, and enough romance and suspense to fill a few volumes. I’ve never been what one could call a “fan” of police dramas and mysteries, but this book has certainly given me pause in that viewpoint. I couldn’t stop reading, too intrigued and drawn in. The characters might as well be real people with how well they were written. Even the background characters were amazing and integral to the story. If you enjoy books with suspense, crime, and an ensemble of characters you’ll love, this is for you.

This was a fantastic ending to Tasha and Levi’s story! I couldn’t have asked for a better wrap up, if I had wanted to. I enjoyed reading the culmination of all the buildup of the hellspawn army and how they find a way to defeat them in the end. I liked that it took all of the species working together to make it happen, too! It was a concerted effort by everyone.
In the end, it seems like there could be more added to the story but with other characters that were introduced along the way. I will be keeping my eyes on the lookout to see if Kimber, Remus, or Dominic get their own story!

This book was great! I just had to open my paranormal mind a bit more than usual for these reads. This one took a different turn that threw me for a loop and I had to shake my head and re read. It’s near the end and it wasn’t necessary for the story but added a different element.
Of course it was amazing to see Levi again! I really have loved him since the beginning and he really only gets better as he ages. Tasha frustrated me at times. She knows the danger but yet ridiculously endangers herself over and over. She always promises not to and does anyway. I really think she has nice traits otherwise.
The secondary characters are coming out of the shadows. I really enjoy the attitude/humor that Donovan has been showing. Radar and Spenser have done really well and add some humor. There are newer characters as well that add spark and spunk to the story.
Overall this is the last one for these two. I am sad and will miss them. I will always wonder what happened with Tristan, Kimber and the parents and did Radar ever find anyone. This is a highly entertaining story and I loved the series.

This book sounded interesting when I saw it. It really isn’t my normal read but I figured I would give it a shot and I’m glad I did. My only complaint is that I wish this book was longer, I didn’t want it to end. It has a different take on on first contact and I liked it because it not your normal read. Unfortunately, this is the final book in the series. This Western romance that is a sweet story. It is a quick read and there are times when the story is emotional and heartfelt at the same time as loving and understanding whilst filled with angst and frustration. It really has a little bit of everything. Rebecca Steele has left behind her old life and married her love and his beautiful daughter. But someone from his past resurfaces and threatens everything she loves. Her other love is country music, but it is a hard world to navigate. It shows the best and the worst of the life. She will need to pull on a strength even she didn’t know she fully had to get her through. But she is not alone she has family and friends to help her on her way.

This book was different. Not really my cup of tea. The Genre was ‘slice of life’ which this was my first read in that category. Apparently I do not like this type of book. I like books with more plot than character growth.
Regardless, it was well written for what it was. You follow the every day life of a group of ghosts living in limbo. The main character is a 17 year old ghost who is sad that she never really got to live since she died so young. You follow her figured out death and how to live with it.
The author really tuned into the emotions I would expect from experiencing death and waking up in Limbo. The author’s descriptions were very well thought out. I have never read anything like this. The topic was interesting.

I read this in one sitting as it’s a very short quick read and when it ended I was really confused. I guess like all books you read you know that that last page is going to clear everything up for you. I either missed that happening, or it didn’t happen with this one. This was a really good read though and I enjoyed the whole idea of this storyline. I have not read other books yet by this author but I do plan to because the writing was amazing. I had a clear picture in my head of the town and each of the characters. It felt calm and thought provoking all the way through. My 4 stars are only based on wanting more I think. I didn’t have that satisfied feeling of closure at the end.
I will be looking into other books by this author based on the writing that I very much enjoyed in this one!

Unlikely to Stay is the third book in the Parker Lake series. This is a fun, humorous romantic story. I read this and still enjoyed it thoroughly despite not having read the other books in the series. I could tell that there were characters that were a part of the story that had probably been delved into more in the other stories, but I still could get into the story quickly of Brant and CC. Brant is a nurse practitioner in town, and CC is the small town’s hairdresser. The two are a sweet couple that came together and had me rooting for their happy ending. But, of course, they face some challenges but will they overcome the obstacles? This is a fun, laugh-out-loud story. I enjoyed this as a perfect summer read that left a smile on my face. The characters are fun and remind me of living in a small town. I look forward to picking up some other books by this author in the future.
OH YEAH!! This is the third book and sadly the last in this compelling paranormal forbidden romance series. This book is just as good if not better than the first two which is why I had to force myself to slow down and not try to skim through it because my need to know was that great. This author is a master at creating a paranormal tale that is riveting and enticing and perfectly bewitching. The word smithing is spot on, the narrative is rich, and the characters are formidable. This complex and multi-layered tale is nonstop actioned packed and fast paced and has all the ingredients that make it great. With fated mates, forbidden love with sizzling chemistry that makes a girl sit up and take notice, Vampires and Lycans, Hell spawn and witches, danger, and secrets. This engrossing tale will have you glued to the pages and wanting more. It has everything that all die hard paranormal lovers will enjoy and more.

This is a great book to read. It has characters you will love and hate, which any good book should. From the beginning I got sucked in and had to know what would happen next. This book truly takes you on an adventure. I will definitely be reading more books from this author.
