This is an author that I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up of hers. I enjoy her writing style as well as her attention to details. She pulls me into her stories from the beginning. This book is no different. This is a rockstar romance story that I really enjoyed. The characters are relatable and brought the story to life. I enjoyed their growth as well as the growth of the plot throughout the story. The characters’ chemistry is great and made them entertaining to read about. This is a story about a guitarist that is part of a band that means everything to him except for his father. He is one person that is more important and not only that but a promise has been made that he needs to keep. Then he meets her and things change for them. The one thing he never expected was to have her come into his life. What happens next you will have to read this book to find out. They are great characters that made the story for me. It is a fast paced, engaging story that I highly recommend.

I loved reading the poems. They really are spot on and made me think. The next portion of the book is filled with activities foe the reader to do. It was fun and I did learn a few things. The last portion is a QA. I can see why a few of the questions asked..because people are curious or nosy. The first one just flummoxed me. I think its because people with vision only think of colors…so seeing blank is unfathomable to someone not vision impaired.
This is a great book that is quick but very informative. The author does a good job getting her thoughts across. Very thought provoking.

I really enjoyed this book. It is the first book in a new series, and while there is some unfinished business, the main conflict of this book was solved. The world, magic, and how the two have been separated form the ‘mundane’ world is interesting and new, even with some recognizable names of supernatural people. Harlow is a likable character who makes mistakes and isn’t perfect, and the other characters we meet along the way are unique and intriguing. I loved how much character the sword has, and I cannot wait to find out what happens in the next book.

I enjoyed this story. It was a well written paranormal story that i didn’t wanna put down. Harlow is the main character and she was great. She is a charm collector and that is something i have never read about before so i enjoyed that part alot. She was such a good MC and she was my favorite part of the story. I continue to fall more and more in love with world of magic and fantasy each series I am introduced to. There is so much talent out there and I am finding so many original series to enjoy. This happens to now be one of them! Urban fantasy is an amazing genre all its own. This book takes us in in the world of fantasy, danger, mystery, magic of course, and many delightful characters who bring their good and bad to these fantastical pages. Lee was a character you truly fell in love with and rooted for. You could understand the things she did to survive, and appreciate her plight. This story was one of a kind and I am eager for book 2!

I don’t normally go for anything but Romance book, sure I enjoy super natural type twist but to catch my attention most of the time there needs to be a love connection. I was hooked from the first page, not many people can world build so much and not overwhelm a reader within the first sentences of a book. But boy did this author Hit it out of the park Not to give away all the secrets but the supernatural and Native American legends and lore had my mind racing to find answers. If you want a change from the normal books you read I highly highly recommend this book.

I was drawn to this book by the title because who couldn’t use some magical living in today’s world. I liked how the book was laid out, it’s nothing like I’ve read before. To me, this book was about finding your inner self and being more comfortable within yourself, which I definitely needed. This was a good, easy read. I would recommend this book.

This was a really interesting an entertaining read! I was completely captured and enthralled while reading this novel, and I could hardly put it down. This gave me a whole new perception on fantasy/supernatural stories. The author was able to write a whole new fantasy world with supernatural characters in a way that was new and not boring. I was able to get lost in the plot while reading this novel. I immensely enjoyed this novel and I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series!

I freaking LOVE this book! Harlow is a fierce female lead and the addition of a sentient sword as a character in this story elevates it above so many others! Boy, does it ever get her in trouble. This book latched it’s grip onto me and had me hooked in good! I couldn’t wait to read what happened next and now I can’t wait to read the next book! Miss Fletcher is a charm “collector” and now she is in a WORLD of trouble!!! As an ex bounty hunter turned criminal, her specialty is finding rare magic-laced items. She does this by breaking into the houses of recently arrested criminals and stealing stuff for the highest bidder. First, I think the cover of the book is stunning! The story was very good and full of magic, mystery and one wild ride with a sword. Charm collector Harlow is all about finding items and sell them off. When Harlow’s “eye” finds a beautiful sword that is when the story takes off. Nothing like believing you have the person to buy the sword but the sword itself has a mind of its own. After being blamed for crimes she tries to find out what the sword is truly trying to bring. Mix in action, adventure, crime ……. This story was fun to read.

This non stop urban fantasy was a great read! I loved reading about Harlow’s world and all the others in it. Reading about her and the sword that has anger issues is definitely entertaining. I really enjoyed how descriptive the author was. It made it really easy to visualize all the places and everything in the story! I’m really looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

There has been a war between light and dark and dark has won. I wish I could read book 1-4. This is a beautiful story of love and mystery. Magic can change the fate of one or all. So many points of view and different stories. You never know what could happen and it is fast paced from the very beginning. Lies and adventure is pretty much an understatement. The main plot is so gripping that you can read this over and over. A great original a great story for recommending. This is anew author to me and I am all in. Five stars I would give it more if I could.

Paranormal shifters, deliciously described food, and romance bring a great combination to this new series. This is a new author to me and I was pleasantly surprised by the story and world-building. I enjoyed the incorporation of Maori food and mythology. Also, the main characters Ember and Austin were a wonderful couple that I wanted to see have the best of lives. I really enjoyed the story and want to try some of the food described. I’m excited because this was the first book in a series and look forward to reading more in this series.
Harlow, a charm collector spends her days obtaining and then selling illegal artifacts. When a big name in her world gets arrested, she quickly goes to his warehouse to collect anything of interest to her. While there she comes across a sentient sword and shortly thereafter she is a wanted woman on the run. This was urban fantasy at its finest. Excellent world building, really likable characters and spot on pace. May cannot come soon enough. Putting my pre-order in NOW.

I really liked this book however the ending for me was a little anti climatic. I was expecting so much more and I was kind of let down. The rest of the book was fabulous! I love Em and Stefano. They are hot from the get go…even in their own darkness.
This book is book 3 in the series and is not a standalone. This author’s writing style keeps me reading, keeps me turning the pages. The fire that Em has makes it easy to admire her. The darkness and determination that Stefano has makes it easy to love him. The evil that Frank has makes it easy to continue to hate him.
Looking forward to what comes next for this group of Mafia princesses and princes.

As the year comes to an end, I am once again astounded by the talent that this author has for writing. Like the previous two books in the series, as well as many of her other works, the book was quick to draw me in, especially since I’ve enjoyed the other two books immensely and couldn’t wait for the story to continue, even if it was focused on yet another new pair of characters, much like her other stories. This book, like many others, can be read as a standalone novel, but there are references to previous books in the series that make more sense if you have read them as well.
Stefano and Emiliana have fate against them in this continuation of the addictive Mafia Elite story. Much like Romeo and Juliet, they are forbidden to love one another, but in this modern ‘re-telling’ of the story, the situation is much more complex. The Five Families have discovered a rat in their midst, so whilst trying to hide their love from her father, Stefano is doing everything in his power to protect Emiliana and figure out who is causing trouble in Chicago. The connection between the two, the guessing on who may be the snitch and the overall anticipation of what will become of the forbidden couple made the book impossible to put down. Needless to say, I am beyond thrilled that there is another book in the series, and plan to read it as soon as I am able to!

Isra Sravenheart has become one of the authors that I do not hesitate to pick up her books.I have followed this series from the first book and they keep getting better. Her storytelling keeps me wanting more. Kissing Darkness is the fifth book in the Dark Spell series. Her story is fast-paced, but it is satisfying to read. It is a story filled with witches, magic, agendas, and deception. When you think that the story is going in one direction it makes a turn out of right field. The characters are fully developed and interesting to read about. Irsa is at it again. She has given her heart to the darkness. Astrid is still watching over Irsa. Does Astrid have her hands full? What trouble does Irsa bring this time? Who is Samuel and how does he fit into the picture? I highly recommend this book and the previous 4 books. I will warn you that you may not be able to put this book down until the last word on the last page of this book.

I really loved this story of a traveller. It was engaging and entertaining. The author made the story realistic that you could imagine it really happening. The concept of the traveller being a spider was a unique twist and made the story more entertaining seeing things from that point of view.
It’s a story full of adventure and time travel. I love how the traveler has travelled over space and time to learn all he can about humans. And then he meets Tristan and he tries to make him see the world through his eyes. But Tristan is deathly afraid of spiders which is the the travellers new form so the relationship gets off to a rocky start. The traveller needs to tell his story and Tristian is a willing listener. The traveller takes him on on adventure through time and space to understand who he really is. He’s not a spider but not a robot. But will his story be too much for Tristian to hear? Will Tristian listen to him or will he turn his back on him like so many have before. Will Tristan learn from him or will his self absorbed ways rule him.
It’s a great fast paced story that keeps you gripped wondering what happened next and how they can make their unlikely friendship work.

To be a quick read, it was still oh so amazing! I loved every minute spent reading this Novella! I HAVE GOT to go read the others in the series NOW!! LOVED the setting and that it took place during CHRISTMAS. As a lover of Christmas I was puzzled as to why Amber was such a grinch. As I read more, her painful past was revealed, then I understood why. Gio met Amber and the instant attraction was perfect. After knowing why she was a grinch he made it his sole mission to fix her grinchness. LOL Loved how a new Holly leaf was turned as I continued to read. Gosh Amber and Gio’s love story was too sweet! I may have cried happy tears. Definitely a MUST read!!

Unfortunately, Lee hates her abilities. Being a Liminal has shortened her life significantly and she is tired of it. She will do anything to be healed. In order to do so, she needs to meet the ‘Ceteri’, who are the beings that have introduced magic to the inhabitants of Earth.
In this novel, we follow Lee in her adventure to find the Ceteri while getting weaker with every use of her power. Not only that but the FBI are also tracking her. It was a very interesting read. I will be looking into the other books of this series for sure!

I finished this book and would normally come right in and write a review. I couldn’t do that with this one. The very first thing I did was one click book 2. I had to read some of that because it was like I had quit breathing after the first.
I normally shy away from anything too sad, anything to do with anyone having the big “C”. I will say that other readers’ reviews for this book is what reeled me in, and the cover kept drawing me back to it. I’m especially shocked that I chose to read this in the times we are living in.
I was hooked on the first paragraph! I hated every single time I had to put this book down, and it never left my mind till I picked it back up. I was completely shocked that this is this author’s first book. I still can’t believe it. It was written as well if not better than many best selling books out there today. Authors with a whole list of books do not have anything on this author. I can tell this was written with a lot of emotion, care, and love. I felt every bit of that. Will and Tori **sigh** first I’ll start with Tori. I walked in her shoes with her this whole book. I fell to my knees with her through this whole book. Her character was written so beautifully and her strength was everything! She was everything Will didnt want around him, yet needed her even though he fought not to. Reading the building of this connection felt completely natural and I cried alot, lost my breath a lot and worried a lot. I also though smiled, and laughed. The interaction between these two was simple perfection in my eyes.
I also want to mention Jenny, I loved her, her character was very strong in this book. I felt her struggle with things I suspected, being torn the way she was I can’t even imagine and don’t know that Id have had the strength to keep those lines from getting blurred.
I loved this book. I already love this author, and I’m so thankful I read it. It’s not all depressing and sad. It’s a journey of a growing love, and a whole lot of hope that never got lost in the mix. It was a lot of people’s reality, and I am so thankful I have the next one sitting right here on my kindle, because waiting for it would probably ruin me!

I was so messed up when this book hit my kindle. I couldn’t wait to read it yet didn’t want to start it because I knew it was the end of another amazing series by this author. I literally love all of this author’s books, and it might just be because I just finished this that I’m saying this is my favorite. I knew the ongoing story playing out in all these books was going to end in a really big way and I was right. This part though had me feeling every emotion possible. I held my breath more than once and fell in love with Lazarus and Sasha. Oz had already won my heart more than once and I couldn’t wait for him to get his story. This was amazing, reconnecting with others from the previous books. Oz’s mum was perfect in this book!
The twists and turns will have you pulling your hair out, the suspense, danger and I could literally feel the determination of these characters to finally put an end to it all.
This was a perfect ending to an amazing series, one that I can’t wait to read again in the future back to back. Start from book 1, seriously..you need every story leading up to this one to get the full effect of what is happening. They are all quick reads mainly because once you pick each one up you won’t want to put it down and the next thing you know you’re finished. This author is amazing and I will always pick up any book she writes.

Anna is happily married, with one amazing son and a rescue pup who seems to be part boxer, part goat, and part dingo–but he sure is fun. When she’s not writing, she’s trying to make a dent in her TBR pile. Given that she’s constantly adding new titles to the list, the chances of her ever finishing are slim.

I love the originality of this story as well as the details in the storyline. The author gave us a brand new world we can immerse ourselves in. It started a little slow because of the details and introduction to a new world and new characters, but it picked up. A wonderful read that is action packed and funny! Can’t wait to read the next one!

This novel is absolutely RIVETING. I was completely captured by the accounts of Becca, Faith and Sandy, and was turning pages fast as their stories were slowly revealed. They have wildly different lives, loves, and circumstances, and the pressures they faced to give up their babies as teenagers were immense and all-consuming. It is easy to forget in the 21st century that just 60 years ago, women had so few rights and options. These women are wholly controlled by the men in their life, and the Magnolia Home for Unwed Mothers was not a choice they wanted to make. Their time at the home changes them forever – a pivotal moment in their lives. None can forget each other or the babies they birthed on the same day, and the shadow of these babies haunts them. Their firstborns are never far from their minds. The scandal that could ensue if their secret is ever revealed could be catastrophic for each of them. Fantastic work of historical fiction that me hooked until the end.

Piasa is a compelling story that I enjoyed. I had trouble keeping the characters straight at first as there seemed to be a lot of information at once. Likely this is because I didn’t read the previous books in the series. It did become clear, and I was glad that I stuck around. The writing flows very well, and the story had a good arc. Delta is a wonderful character, a shaman with a beautiful heart, but troubled by the visions she receives from her spirit guides. She wants to do what is right, but the spiritual elders are giving her information that seems to clash with her morals and what she knows of the world. There are lots of interesting characters, dragons, sha(wo)men, dragons, vampires… lots of magical beings to get your imagination in overdrive. A good read for fantasy lovers.
Thief of Magic is a great fantasy novel with lots of action and interesting characters. Our heroine, Lee, is bright, tough, and singularly driven to do whatever it takes to avoid her fate. Growing up without parents, and having to steal to survive, she is resourceful and pragmatic, but also slow to trust anyone. When the new teammate joins the crew, he seems inordinately interested in her movements and motivations. His interest makes her uncomfortable, but she needs his help to complete the jobs and earn the money for her plan. There are plenty of exciting heist scenes, complete with otherworldly magic and powers. Lee’s race to find a cure provides excellent drama and suspense to keep the reader interested. I highly recommend this read.
