My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this take on self-help. The author gives recommendations and follows up with her personal experiences and journey with each aspect, and is frank when something will be hard and admits to pitfalls. She brings us on a journey to help find the feminine (not just talking about gender, but the emotion) being within ourself so we can nurture it and be open to the magic in the everyday and the universe’s way of guiding us to happy.

I enjoyed the structure of the book, with the chapters being succinct and exemplifying exactly what is meant. The breakdown within each chapter is also clear and concise, allowing the reader to follow along easily. I thoroughly enjoyed the encouragement to sit back and reflect on what I had read and learned with the guided questions. It allows the reader to stop and think how the aspects talk about can be applied in our own life and how that can help to bring overall peace by living with the magic around us.

This is a self-help book I will be happy to go back and read again when needed, and one I will be recommending to others when they find themself in a rut.
