Born in Darkness (Mafia Elite Book 3) by Amy McKinley – Review by Jacque Flynn

Born in Darkness (Mafia Elite, #3)Born in Darkness by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stefano and Emiliana are a dynamic pair with Russians to fight, Stefano’s abusive father and Em’s overprotective brother all getting in their way. If Em wasn’t training for a fight, then she was in the kitchen cooking and every page has you right there with them. Another boss is replaced making the five families even more linked and stronger. This group isn’t five separate families working together to rule Chicago, but a collection of family and friends blending together in their individual relationships. The next step is bringing Elena back into the fold and I can’t wait to find out what it is about her that’s so special and why she’s been a target for so long. Bring on the next book in this awesome series!
