Master Tuscano (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black – Review by Sarah King

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2)Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As the overall story line continues for the Masters of the Consulate series this book focuses on Christian and Delilahs story. As in the first book of the series there is a BDSM theme and may be a trigger for some.
Master Tuscano is pure blood who feel in love with a human and the Consulate makes their unhappiness known to the two. Upon learning that she isn’t what the Consulate deems an acceptable mate for a Master, especially because she has no plans to be converted Delilah runs. While living with a witch coven she is kidnapped, once she is rescued Christian cares for her and tries to prove to her that she is what he wants regardless of the Consulates view. Delilah does not make it easy though. She runs under the pretense that she has to take care of her torturers because she does not want that on Christians head. Unfortunately, things do not go as planned and Christian must turn her or lose her and he just is not willing to do that. As they work to overcome the challenges and misunderstanding between both each other and the consulate While I love Christian’s character Delilah stirs mixed feelings for me. In moments she feels too naive in the story to me but by the end I feel she has matured enough belong. Can’t wait to see how the overall story carries to the next book.
