Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Amy Brennan

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don’t think I will ever get tired of the writing style, nor her ability to completely captivate the reader and this author insisting that they try to read the entirety of her novels in one sitting. I have been knee-deep in this series since it began and can honestly say that each one adds more intensity to it than the last. There were tons of twists and turns during this biting the inside of my cheek adventure. The female main character is sassy, independent, and has put the safety of her family and friends before her own for the last several years, which just shows how loving and caring Elena is. She takes everything in stride, for the most part, and I have to say I probably admire her the most out of all the mafia ‘princesses’ in the group thus far.

We have gotten to know Marco well by now, through the interactions that prior novels have included in their stories, and he has been closed off to the deep feelings that only one woman has ever brought forward in him. Now that she has returned, we get to know a softer, more human side to him, and I’ve got to say, Elena and Marco are end game, if I were to have my way. I do hope there is more to come for the Five Families and will be waiting eagerly to escape again into these action-packed romances. You go, girl, five stars!
