Unlock the Angel is the first book in the Seraphim Angel Order series by Calla Zae. This is not my first read by this author and I am enjoying exploring Calla Zae’s work, as she always seems to bring something new to the table. This is a sweet and spicy paranormal romance that kept me reading well past my bedtime. It is well written with fully developed and endearing characters as well as an original take on Angel lore. This originality and the wonderful world building gave this sweet story an extra element of interest too. Add in a bit of danger, good vs evil, emotion, and some dramatic turns- made it a story that wouldn’t let me put it down. I did want to know more about the ‘world’ and the ‘Order’, but I am hoping that will come in further instalments.
