Yolanda and Mark have loved each other from school got married and moved to the big city, but things have started to strain and Yolanda does not know what to do. She decides to go back home and try and work through her emotions.

Mark arrives home and find Yolanda and his daughter have gone to visit family but as the weeks go by he realises that there is something seriously wrong, so he packs up and follows them to Bunya Junction to try and save his family.

This story has been brewing through the last three stories and I am so glad Yolanda and Mark get to share their journey with us in this book. This story was heart warming and real, real everyday struggle with some secrets added in.

The story is well written and winds through the characters trying to come to terms with themselves as well as trying to drawn them back together. As you read through the story you understand there is much more to their story and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I loved the way the secondary characters are compliment the main characters and offer support.

To be honest every story I read by this author is wonderful, I am a little sad that this is the last book in this wonderful series but can wait for the next book/series to come along.

I started reading this without realizing that it was actually the 2nd book in a series. When they referred to a past incident but never fully explained it, I got the hint. However, this book was extremely new reader friendly. It felt like I was reading an episode of “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” and that’s a good thing. The story was fun while still being intense at parts. The characters were not fully fleshed out, but they did have their own personal identities. I look forward to many sequels in the future pulling the supporting characters out of their shells more. It was a shockingly quick read, and I had wished that there was more. So, I’m lucky that there’s the first one to go back and read. I’ll just pretend that it’s a prequel to this one. Haha!

This book was so super fun to read! Definitely an original story, and I found myself wondering how sweet things can cause some people to find love! Well as you read the story, you fall right into the joy of being in love. I don’t want to give the story away but there are two very fun additions to the story that play an interesting part in building the book and. one makes it a book to keep coming back to! Now I must say through the entire book I wanted one of these delectable treats and a visit to Cupid’s Cove! I am sure this series will not disappoint!

When Luc misunderstands what he overhears, he takes her with him to Chicago. There he finds out that he is Mafia royalty.
Opinion
I think this is my favorite mafia series. How McKinley is able to come up with situations that are intriguing yet plausible (at least in the realm of fiction) is beyond me. With each book that I read, I am drawn further into her Mafia Elite world.
This book has it all from not knowing about your parents to enemies to lovers to an unplanned pregnancy. I am not sure that McKinley is going to be able to top this one for me.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Notebook Mysteries is a good series. Changes and Challenges is a great read and you won’t want to miss it.

Emma is left everything from Millie’s grandfather after he passes. She then finds a case that she will be going to alone. Jeremy sends her there and there’s a reason why. The quote I chose for Emma is: “Unfortunately, or maybe, fortunately, Mr. Carlyle died of natural causes before he could hear his granddaughter’s guilty verdict.”

Jeremy is working on a case downtown and will not be joining Emma. Instead he hopes that he can keep their secrets. Can he do that and keep Emma safe? The quote I chose for Jeremy is: “I’ll be on my way, also. I’m working a case at Citizens bank downtown. I’ll be there all week if you need anything.”

Highly recommended for YA Historical lovers.

This is the fifth book of seven, and I cannot wait to read the rest of them.

This is the fourth book in this series which is just as great as the previous three books. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement and enjoyment of this author and series. I have loved reading this author from the first book I picked up by her. They pull you in from the beginning and her attention to details make her books realistic. This book is no different. It is a well written story that has characters that not only pop but make the story come to life on each page. I enjoyed how they are connectable and kept the story engaging. A story that has great growth of the characters and the plot throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that is full of not only action but also some romance. This is a hard to put down story but it is a must read. A story of secrets, honor and threats of survival. This is a really great story that I loved reading. It is entertaining and ticks all the right boxes for sure. I highly recommend this book and this author.

My 8 and 9 year old daughters loved this book, as they love anything with a mermaid that they can read on their own. My girls love the brightly colored pictures and the easy to read storyline. They also love that they can take the book with them anywhere they take their tablets, as they can access the kindle app. I like that the riddles show kids how to think outside the box and also think for themselves. This is a cute book, and I can imagine kids of many ages liking it.

A Flipping Fantastic five-star read. This is number four in the Soul Connection series, and I have read and loved them all, and I would recommend you read them all in order as they do build the world and setting, and you would miss some amazing characters and stories. Russ and Hope have an amazing Soul connection, they face difficulties, and your heart will be pounding along with them as this is such a well written story that you will be sucked into the story and feel like you are part of the conversation. The flow of the story is impeccable, and you will be left wondering along with the main characters what is different this time. This is a great story and one not to be missed.

A Flavoursome five-star read. This was such a sweet and romantic read, there was a little of everything in this story, a little sweet, a pinch of sour and a dash of drama, it’s a quick and short read that packs a delicious punch. I enjoyed the rivalry, I enjoyed it all, there was just something about this one that captivated me and made it so I couldn’t put it down, so it’s a good thing its only short as I really didn’t have the time for a full story but couldn’t put this down, it’s a great welcome to Cupid Cove.

Bullet is a prospect in his MC but he thinks he messed up big time and it’s all he can think about whilst battling with the nightmares from his past. Can he finally let go and realise how much his brothers stand behind him before he lets it swallow him up whole but when he goes to the hospital he meets Clemintine and the spark is instant between the two maybe all is not lost for Bullet after all and she just might be able to help him see he is worth more.

What I loved about this one the most? We got introduced to two completely new characters. In past books we had an inkling of who and what they were about. This one is such a surprise! I zipped right through it! Entertaining, dangerous and full of characters we have come to love!

The meet-cute between Luc and Summer is fresh and gives a small look into each character. I enjoyed getting to know them and I could feel the connection between them coming off the pages.

Seeing all the wives and Boss’ of the Five Families again was nice and fun. Those girls are a hoot! Their men all have that dangerous vibe. Its easy to see how Luc and Summer fit right in.

This is a perfect addition to the series. I cant wait for the next one!

With fun and colourful characters, the book illustrates a simple science trick that the kids can try at home. A great way to introduce young children to enjoy science. A Fantasy of a four-star read. This is number three in the Titans of Manhattan series and they can be read as stand-alone, the main characters do pop up in each other’s stories but they only add to the story not spoil it. This was okay, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the previous stories, I don’t know why, it had all of the same elements, and maybe its me and me not being in the right place for this I don’t know. It just didn’t make me blush and smile like the last couple of reads by this author. It was good, just not as good as I come to expect, I didn’t feel Rhyann at first, I took a while to warm to her, and that’s unusual for a character this author writes. Do pick this up and give it a go as it’s a good story overall and hopefully you will warm to the main characters more than I did.

Book 3 starts with a bang as Brandon meets Mary, er, Macy, in a crowded bar in Billings, Montana. They are instantly drawn to each other, and spend an unforgettable night together, after which Brandon is shipped out on a 5-year tour in the military, and Macy is turned out of her home and starts a new one Fetterman with Mason’s pack. In a comedy of errors, Macy spends several years working in Mason’s bar without ever realizing that her mate belongs to the pack of her new family. Brandon returning home is a shocking revelation for them both – and Miranda too.
This latest book follows a similar arc as the others in this series. I found this duo to be a little harder to connect with than those in Book 2 for example, there seemed to be something a bit lacking in the depiction of their romance comparatively. A good novel though, and if you liked the others in this series, Book 3 will likely deliver for you as well.

I enjoyed following the characters as they rekindled their connection and experienced the ups and downs that come with learning to trust again. I wasn’t expecting the religious tilt but it’s easy to breeze through if that isn’t your thing. Overall it was a typical romance, predictable but a reliable quick and heart felt read.

Great shifter romance between tomboy biologist Rylie and alpha/single father Mason. Similarly to Book 1, this shifter is waiting for his mate to come into his life, and when she does, the connection packs a punch. I found their story easy to fall into, and I resonated with their story even more than the one in Book 1. Mason is steadfast and loyal, a great dad to 5-year-old son Archer, and seeks the woman who will be not only his wife but the mother little Archer has never had. Enter beautiful, intelligent, no-nonsense Rylie, who is gobsmacked by the intensity of the connection between them. Their chemistry sizzles, but a bit slower, and there is a depth and intensity in it that I appreciated. I was eager to turn the pages fast and finished this one quickly.

Is this really true love, as Derek insisted all those years ago?
This is a good paranormal love story with an interesting romance between Anna and Derek. I enjoyed the writing style, and could empathize with the characters. A good read.

Mermaid and the Rainbow: Mermaid Science by Lois Wickstrom is an interesting, education, bright, and entertaining children’s story that teaches and inspires children to learn about science. We follow the cute characters on a bit of a science adventure, where the reader is shown science experiments and how to perform them…. So these are things that are easy to do and recreate at home. The characters are cute and quirky, and along with the colourful illustrations, they make the story come to life. The use of fantasy teamed with science, engages both imagination and learning. I think the story is a clever way to teach children about science and make it fun at the same time.

Juliet’s Journey to Love is the first book in the Great Smoky Mountain Getaways series by Elsie Davis. I would classify this as Christian woman’s fiction/Christian romance- with spiritual beliefs, Christian values, drama, challenges, trusting in God’s plan, emotion, love, loss, discovering where you belong, and finding love unexpectedly.
Juliet takes the opportunity to lead a faith group on a hike through the Appalachian mountain trail, in the hopes of getting closer to God and finding direction in her life. But when she falls ill days into the journey her companions need to call for a rescue. It’s when her unexpected rescuer turns up that things get interesting, and Juliet finds that maybe God had a plan for her all along.
This is a faith filled sweet story that should have ticked a lot of boxes for me- but unfortunately Juliet frustrated and annoyed me- and I found it difficult to connect with her- which in turn, made connecting to the story quite difficult too. Also, it felt rushed in places which also didn’t allow me to ‘settle’ into the story or to ‘lose’ myself in the story like I had hoped to. I think if we could have ‘heard’ from Jake more, it would have given the story more balance and depth.

Reunion in the Outback is the fourth and final book in the Welcome To Bunya Junction series by Nicole Flockton. This was a bit of a bittersweet read for me, as on one hand I was excited to finally get Yolanda and Michael’s story- but also sad that this is the final instalment in the series as I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the characters or Bunya Junction. But Nicole Flockton certainly didn’t disappoint with this final book- providing a wonderful story to finish the series on.
Reunion in the Outback is a second chances contemporary romance, set in a small town in the Australian Outback. The story is beautifully woven (as expected), with family, angst, emotion, drama, communication issues, marriage woes, separation, secrets, and how the power of love can overcome anything.
If you haven’t read these wonderful books yet, the series follows the Carruthers siblings, who each get their own book- Sindy (Book One), Jonas (Book Two), Scott (Book Three), and Yolanda (Book Four). This is Yolanda and Michael’s story, and what a story they had to tell. It is a little different from the others in the series, being that Yolanda and Michael have a well of history between them, and being married but now separated. Yolanda has returned to her hometown in the outback to regroup after her marriage woes. Is this really the end? What happens when Michael decides that he doesn’t want to lose the love of his life? What is he willing to do to prove his love and commitment to Yolanda? And most importantly, will Yolanda give him a chance to try to rekindle their love- or is it all a case of ‘too little-too late? The story is definitely worth the read to find out.
I wonder what Ms. Flockton has in store for us next?

This is an cute, well-written, feel-good novel. Layla is an adorable comic book nerd, cosplay enthusiast, and burgeoning artist. Meeting her favourite author hero puts her on the back foot at first, feeling like she’s an unworthy fan girl around a writing legend. As she slowly gets to know Vic Williams, she learns a lot about the sexy older man, and starts to dream of what it might be like to date him. These two have a smoldering romance, with sweet romantic gestures and sexy scenes. This is by turns a comforting read with lovely details, and then smoking hot scenes of passion. A really well done story, I enjoyed it completely.

Science, fantasy, and diversity! Loved it!

A very cute young kids book. It talks about science and the cool things you can do with it. It doesn’t read like the baby books and such that I remember being read (Eric Carlyle, etc.) so I think this would be good for those 4+. Great introduction to science and “experiments.” Enjoyed the additional fantastical aspect of the mermaid being able to come ashore and speak with the two human kids. Loved the diversity and representation depicted as well.

I have start with the cover !!! What an absolute beaut and sensory experience for my eyes 👀❣️

So on St . Patrick’s day this was my read for the day and you can just imagine my joy when the opening line read “ Working a Friday night in a pub was bad enough, it also being St Patrick’s Day only made things worse . “ so to get into the spirit of things I cracked a Guinness and settled in with my read ❣️📕☘️

So Clover had a long and testing night , she locks up and wants to head home but then she has a run in with officers on duty and I almost feel like I need a shot of Irish whiskey ! Oh my goodness this poor girl I wasn’t sure if I wanted to loose my temper or laugh 🤦‍♀️😂😡🤷‍♀️

Shamrock …. Our introduction was rather colourful and him and his mates had me chuckling at the get go 😂😉🍺 I almost want to say he’s a man child 😉 and while his mates seem to be settling he’s still wild and and free , but a little leprechaun whispered in my ear things are about to change …

Shamrock and clover … the plants are different yet similar and so are the people , yes I was one of those that googled ☘️😂🦋but it helped me better understand my characters , I know , strange but true 🥰😂 and thankfully her gran was on board and reassured me … ( you’ll understand when you read this little gem )

At a stage I wondered if my girl was going to get a break , it was one thing after the other and my heart is shattered when she has the hardest blow of all 😭

Their paths cross again in the most unexpected place and then the magic happens ❣️☘️

This was a cute read! I think children would really like it and it opens up a way to experiment with some, easy science projects. My only complaint is the character names. I was very confused because there was no explanation on which character was who. So that threw me off just a little bit. My daughter loved the bright pages, but she’s 18 months so she didn’t really understand or care for the story much, which is normal for her age! I can’t wait to read this to her when she gets a little older and hopefully do some water experiments with her as well!
