My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For a short and sweet romance with hints of tragedy and common ground, this lovely little read really hit the mark for me. Not long ago, I lost my Nana, and though she didn’t raise me, we called each other our own Kindred Spirit, and the connection that Clover felt to her Grandmother was very much how I felt with her. This really allowed me to connect with the character, and the state of mind she would be in after having to say goodbye. Support is so very important to make it through the rough times, and the author seems to know how to allow the reader to feel the grief, the helplessness, and in turn, the sunshine that emanates from others wanting to help.

Shamrock, having had a massive loss and having that loss make it difficult to move forward in his own life, needs help getting back on solid footing. They say that there is always a reason that someone comes into your life, and well, if you read this sweet romance, you’ll discover why these two have met. I read this in one sitting, and loved the feisty friends/co-workers of Clovers, and the way that the author brings the emotions out on every page. I would gladly read this again, along with anything else that this author releases. Highly recommend!
