The Ghastly Gumball by Naomi Valkyrie – Review by Santana Hicks

The Ghastly GumballThe Ghastly Gumball by Naomi Valkyrie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lockwood, a mere mortal, ends up eating a gumball after work one day not knowing that this simple thing would turn his whole world upside down. The day after the gumball incident, weird and inexplicable things start happening to Lock. With the help of his best friend, they try to figure out what is happening to him. On top of all that, a cigar smoking octopus appears in Locks life.

One day, a handsome man named Rex comes in where Lockwood works and there are instant fireworks. Lockwood tries to live a normal life while all of these weird magical things are happening around him.

I honestly love this author. Their writing is so entertaining and out there that I am never bored. I have read a few books from this author and each time I have not been disappointed. The book is no exception. The authors ideas are always so original and magical. Not to mention LGBTQ positive.
