The Hunted (Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam & Layla) by S.B. Alexander – Review by Vanessa Watts

The Hunted (Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam & Layla, #1)The Hunted by S.B. Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So this is a paranormal, enemies to lovers, military romance. This book is packed full of action, snarky characters, and a whole lot of excitement.

We start out meeting vampire Navy seal Sam Mason, whom is not only a vampire but is one with extraordinary abilities that makes his blood worth a pretty penny. Layla is on the opposite side, she is a vampire hunter who takes on a job that will lead to a huge payout if she can finish it. The last thing she expects is the vampire she is supposed to capture alive to be drop dead gorgeous with abilities she knows nothing about. Not only that but she lands herself and her sisters in hot water with the only person who can help her is her nemesis Sam Mason. Can they work together to save Maddie’s sisters or will their feelings get in the way? One thing is for certain Maddie cannot get Sam out of her head so much so he just might be the death of her.

If you like enemies to lovers romances with snarky heroines, and cocky military types then this book is definitely for you. I could not put this one down and managed to read it in one sitting. It is that good!
