The Cruiser (The Hustlers Trilogy Book 1) by Rowan Rossler – Review by Lisa Helmick

The Cruiser (The Hustlers Trilogy, #1)The Cruiser by Rowan Rossler
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

At first I was not super happy with the way this story was going. It seemed to take a long time to get moving and to be honest I skimmed through a lot of descriptives as I wanted to move to the story. With that being said I really became invested in the two main characters. I enjoyed their banter, honesty, creativeness and business sense. They made me laugh, broke my heart and just made me worried about them. I could *feel* the desperation. I really wanted everything to be okay between them. The ending I wasn’t a big fan of…I really wanted something concrete not whimsical.

Overall this is a wonderful story and grew on me. There were many things I ended up loving. One of those items is the relationship between V and her ex went through multiple stages but the last one is my favorite. I do recommend this if you want to read a story where the characters feel alive and they cause you to worry about them.
