This book has it all. Suspense abounds as a mother attempts to extricate herself from an abusive marriage. A character grapples with mental illness, and paranoia is juxtaposed with the impending COVID-19 pandemic. The existence of family secrets is acknowledged. A new romance blooms. Family members learn that they can count on one another, even as devastating long-kept secrets come to light.
