This was a fun 2nd chance romance. Angelina decides to write something a little different for her job and when she goes to present it to her boss she is shocked. She finds that her old boss has retired and her new boss is someone from her past, someone that she left three years ago without a word. Blade is surprised to see Angelina, this time he refuses to let her go. Will they be able to find the love they once had? What will happen when Blade hears the truth behind why she left?

Overall this was a good read. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. There is a scary twist that has you trying to figure out who it was. I definitely had a dislike for Blade’s mother. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you into this 2nd chance romance.
