Until There Was You by G. Colgrove – Review by Angela Shirley

Until there was youUntil there was you by G. Colgrove
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Regan always thought she was cursed, wanting to leave Boston and travel the world. Being the first in her family to graduate her world was ahead of her but in one walked Jeremy and her world stood still.

Jeremy is destine to inherit Stone Development, he has worked hard to prove to his father that he is capable to takeover the business. So this project in Boston starts off great he has the backing but when they step into the diner across from one of the developments and he sees her, all his dreams and aspirations do not seem that important anymore.

This is the first story I have read by this author and I really enjoyed the well written and developed characters. I loved the sassy, strong character of Regan, she knew what she wanted as was not afraid to let Jeremy know exactly what she was thinking and feeling.

Jeremy for me was a great character to match the strong willed character of Regan, but with him being that bit older his responsibilities to his family made your heart ache for the both of them. I loved the secondary characters and would love to know the story behind Shane her brother in the end and does Phillip find his love as I wish he was my best friend also.

All-round I loved this book from start to finish, the story was engaging and at times my heart did break for the two main characters, thank you for a great book I can’t wait to read more.
