Collateral Damage: A Second Chance Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite Book 6)Collateral Damage: A Second Chance Mafia Romance by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read every book in this series and I’m not sure which story I like best but this author hasn’t disappointed me yet. The characters are strong they have to be in their world. I love the little quirks and the way they play off each other makes them somewhat real. This book had it all action, tension, betrayal, romance.

While morning the recent death of his girlfriend Mafia surgeon, Trey La Rosa, met the one woman who could bring him to his knees. He forced himself to walk away. Months later, she’s been kidnapped—and he’ll do anything to save her.

Hailey Carmichael has been crushing on Dr. Trey La Rosa And she can’t believe that he has come to her rescue let alone that he’d claim her for himself. Now she’s hiding out in his home, and the connection they felt when they met is threatening to incinerate them both.

Fate has given them a second chance, but at what cost? So, as they follow the money trail behind her kidnapping, each clue unearths darker and more sinister threats.

Can these two overcome the obstacles thrown at them? Will they take the chance on each other or walk away? He already lost on love so he will do everything in his power to keep Hailey safe…
