This is the first book in the Nora Sommer Caribbean Suspense series. We were introduced to Nora in the author’s previous books. I haven’t read though but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this story.
This story is fast paced and full of twists and turns that keeps the reader guessing. I loved the plot and how Nora has to complete 4 stages to try and find the kidnapper. This additional challenge adds to the suspense of the story as there is no guarantee that Nora will succeed. There is so much at stake on Nora succeeding and finding this kidnapper.
Nora has troubles and failures in her past which threaten to come to light during this already stressful time. With everyone watching her and the life of someone else on the line, can Nora rise to the challenge and bring her home safely or will the pressure get to much for her and jepodise her career and the life of the kidnappers victim.
