Dr. Joanna Fisher (Joannie) has been doing research on a disease that involves lycanthropy in a private lab for a number of years, but when the lab burns down and Joannie is let go, she finds out that she’s an heiress and must continue her deceased grandfather’s own research of the same subject. As she relocates to the Ozarks of Arkansas and young children start going missing, she realizes that her research has NOT been off base. As more children go missing and eerie occurrences continue, Joanie MUST figure out what is happening in the isolated mountains before it is too late!
