My rating: 5 of 5 stars

From the minute I started reading this book, I could feel the love between Alli and Kingsley. This winter, my first baby – a white husky – passed. She was my very best friend and I can see similarities in the book with things we went through in her last weeks. That love has to have somewhere to go and I love that Alli wrote this book for her beloved baby and also for other pet parents to connect with.

There is a lot of helpful information; I would recommend this book to anyone who has loved and lost a dog or is going through a cancer diagnosis with their pet. There are tears and pain that traverse the pages but there is also hope and joy. So much joy.

My heart is with anyone who has had to say goodbye to a love so fierce. Writing is cathartic and I would love to thank the author for sharing her heart and stories of life with us.
