I’ve read a lot of books by this author, Joker’s Fool is my all time favorite, but this one is now following a close second. Even though I had the outcome figured out within the first few chapters, the spook factor was excellent. I think the subject matter was what contributed to it.
Great read on a stormy night!
*Be advised, there are no on-page scenes, but the book does mention child abuse.
