This book is a page turner. It is the perfect mix of fantasy, romance, sci-f- and dystopian future. Mia Grey is one strong mother. Castor arrives and he claims to hold the key to her escape, but is he who he really says he is? And can Mia trust him? This book is quick paced, riveting and you do not want to put it down. Evaline is a necromancer who sees herself as a future detective. She looks up to Sherlock Holmes and wants to follow in his footsteps. Life has other plans for her. Being a woman in the late 1800s, she doesn’t have many rights. Her father has arranged a marriage to a man she does not like at all. Everything she wants to do is frowned upon, even her magical abilities.

A woman, named Nerezza, shows up seeking help from Evaline’s father. A creature called Dr. Death is wreaking havoc upon her world and there is an artifact she thinks can stop the creature. Unfortunately after the death of his wife, he stepped back in his normal job for unearthing valuable artifacts. Evaline’s interest is piqued and she decides to follow the woman and offer her help.

Nerezza decides to take advantage of Evaline’s offer and flings her into her own world which is a mirror version of London. Evaline has to use her wits and magic to help find this artifact and Dr. Death.

Someone else said that this is like Alice in Wonderland meets Sherlock Holmes and I completely agree with that statement. It was exciting and mysterious and kept me on the edge of my seat. Ending on a cliffhanger, I cannot wait for the second book of the series!

This is the fourth book in this series and the best yet. This series keeps getting better and better with every installment. This is an author that I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up. This is a well written story where the author used their writing skills and attention to details to make the story pop. This is a great romance story that has some twists of suspense added to it. A story about two people who are trying to make things work but a serial killer has something else in mind. There are a lot of things happening in this story but the author did a great job of keeping me engaged. The characters are strong, connectable and supportive of each other. They had me coming back for more. They made the story easy and entertaining to read which just added to the story. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

This is a series that I have enjoyed right from the beginning and I love this new addition to it. This book is easily my favourite in the series so far. I just loved getting to know Andy and Stella, their relationship seemed so precious and exactly what they both needed. And I was really rooting for Stephen to find a way to be a part of the family again.
Then came the mystery and intrigue of the killer targeting them. For me, that just added a whole new layer to the story and made it so much more enjoyable. The author has really caught my attention with this book and I could not put it down. Not only is this an already strong series – this book for me is fantastic all on its own.

This book was such a fun read. I read a lot of reviews comparing it to Alice in Wonderland, I was iffy about it, but it’s not a retelling, and it only has some similarities.
It is the perfect combination of paranormal, adventure, mystery, magic and so much more. it was so exciting to read about Evaline’s adventure and story. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. would definitely recommend it!

This is a dystopian novel with an emphasis on real world problems. The author has created a story that is fictional and set in a dystopian world but has given it a very realistic feel by basing it on current global issues such as GM vs organic food and general political views.
I thought the idea behind the story was good. It was an enjoyable plot with characters that fit well within the story. I found it hard to really connect with it though as, at times, it felt like it was a little too political for my liking. While I don’t’ mind reading books like that, I prefer my dystopian novels to be more on the fictional side.
However, the book was well written and certainly interesting. It gave me a good view into the authors writing style and has made me want to read more of her work.

What a Story! Not what I expected! This series just keep getting better and better! I loved how this one brought out the emotions! I was sickened, enraged and saddened. Oh there are good times but the main story..at times I just wanted to cry. I have many…many sections highlighted as there is much wisdom in here.

This is the fourth book in the Fitz Series. While it could be read as a stand alone I would highly recommend reading the series in order. The reason is that the characters are given to the reader in bits and pieces. Through the stories they each show up and the family grows larger with additions.

We have previously met Stephen and Andy. I adored them and was devastated at how Stephen acted. Now he is back and wants Andy to forgive and forget. I admire the backbone that Andy has in this story. His life has not been easy but luckily he has the love of a great family.

Fitz and his team or family have really outdone themselves in here. I am still reeling from all the trauma and suspense that happened in here. It is an honor to hang out with Fitz and his family/friends.

I look forward to more from this author!

This is the story of Aimee aka Wheels who is a courier on a skateboard aka her nickname and works very hard. She has to fight for everything she has but she is very educated. She can speak several different languages but she’s also street smart. Through several weird chain of events she meets Quadir who is a Shiek and falls for Aimee the first minute he sees her. He is determined to make her his wife but Aimee is not having it. Quadir is used to getting what he wants and if he can’t get it he can usually buy it but Aimee is different. When she ends up accidentally saving his life he is forever indebted to her. When Aimee saves Quadir she doesn’t expect to become a target herself but that is exactly what happens. Is Aimee smart enough to out run someone wanting to assassinate her? Will Quadir finally get Aimee to love him? Read this fast paced Romantic Suspense to find out!

Evaline is a necromancer and the daughter of an important man, who I felt was controlling to keep both him and her safe. But Evaline has different plans, she was set on helping others and making a difference in life, that she was finding herself in some interesting situations. This rabbit hole of a book I fell in love while reading just kept me wanting more and more of what was going to happen. I found the character development was done extremely well, and the back stories that go with it was just as entraining. Along with the world building in this book it really made me feel like I could imagine with detail what it was like.
This amazing mystery, paranormal and magical, with artifacts and ancient things is amazing and something I thoroughly enjoy reading about. This book kept me in my toes and wanting to read more and not put it down. It was really well written and thought out, it’s a must read.

A Tale of a Body Thief was my first book from by Kristy Centeno and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! This was a great introduction to the Rovena Silvex Chronicles. The world building in this story is -phenomenal-. The characters are extremely well fleshed out. I adored the strength and perseverance of Rovena. She is no ordinary demon hunter and she is very good at what she does. For me, this book was a slow-burn, and enjoyably so. Many things are transpiring and building and it is absolutely worth the wait. This book concludes perfectly to lead into the next and I can say that I am very excited to dive in when the following book for this series comes out. I definitely recommend, even if paranormal fantasy is not your typical go-to!

I don’t really know where the title came from, but I’m glad I read Amber Waves of Grace. It was a really good book with amazing characters. I know so much more about farming now, haha. But for real, it is a wholesome clean story. The characters all go through some pretty heavy stuff, but it is real life problems. The story was realistic and not just a fairy tale love story. I love how close the families are, and the characters all have good chemistry. I enjoyed reading the afterward acknowledgements, learning where the character inspiration came from. Highly recommend and look forward to reading more by the author.

First, let me start by saying I really enjoyed Princess of Prias, and was unable to put it down once I started it. Princess of Prias is a beautiful story of girl named Elle (L) who goes on an unexpected adventure to find the truth about who she is, and where she came from.

The story begins with a tragic scene which leaves our heroine orphaned as a newborn on a planet not her home, Earth. Thankfully, she was taken in by a kind woman who taught her love and acceptance as she grew into the bright young woman she was meant to be. Although she grew up with her Aunt Sarah, who had taken her in and loved her, she still always felt like she didn’t quite belong. That something was different about her, more than just her physical appearance of purple eyes, and a blue star shaped birthmark.

Throughout Elle’s adventure, she lives out every young girl’s dream, finding out she is a long-lost princess. But she’s so much more than that, she is her people’s savior, and during her adventure she learns more about herself, her people, and what she can do to save them. She finds she is more powerful than she could have ever imagined and learns to use that power to save her world.

This wonderful book tells the life of our heroine Elle who goes on an unexpected adventure to find the truth about her origins. Along the way, she finds out truths about herself she would have never expected. Her adventure is met with friends, betrayal, love, and so so much more.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this author or this genre- it definitely isn’t one I would pick up at the library. But, I’m glad I took a chance! This story will make you laugh out loud!

Rhainnon/Aqua Marine comes from a family of a superhero and a supervillain. This leaves her wondering where her place is in this labeled world. She feels like she is an imposter because her superpowers aren’t good enough in her eyes. She wants to leave an impact in this world and to just make her mom proud of her. She isn’t sure how to make this happen with her power to lift only one cup of water at a time.

This entertaining and fun read will have readers from the younger end of the YA audience to adults engaged and willing to see what happens next.

Wow! Where to start, where to start. Honestly, this novel was much different than any other that I have read, and I think that that is a very good thing. Just the back and forth between Rovena and Lakyn would be entertaining enough, in my opinion, never mind the demons and responsibilities that came from Rovena’s line of work. It takes a little while to really get into it, but once connections are established, boy oh boy was it an addictive read.

There is so much tension, sexual and otherwise, fantastic character development, and world building and I felt as though it was just the right length. I love the lessons within these pages as well, such as not judging a book by it’s cover, and by following your gut instinct, and all those delicious life lessons. I very much look forward to reading more by this author, and I think you would do well to give this a read. Well done!

I’ll start off by saying that the amount of faith, despite all the things that Corrie, Aaron, Luke, Violet, and all the other amazing folks in this novel go through, is really incredible. I have never been one to really look to the higher ups, whomever they may be, to get me through the tough times, but after reading this, I can certainly see the mentality behind doing so. Truly, the writing in this novel was very well done, had a great touch of mystery, romance, and family.

I really enjoyed the character building, and found it fairly easy to relate to Corrie and her need to keep the farm afloat, as well as the struggles she went through in the past. The only thing I found difficulties with, is that the past seemed to stick right where it was, and decisions were being made based on such over and over again, which seemed a bit overdone. That being said, everything else was phenomenal, and it just proves that if you have the right people by your side, you can get through anything! I do recommend giving this a read, it will give you the tingles and make you feel as though you can overcome anything!

Key to His Heart was an absolutely engaging story. From the quaint town of Golden Crest as the setting, to the characters we get to meet in this town, I was fully in love with this story. Pregnant and divorce, Katrina is drawn to the small town and start life over. She doesn’t know a soul, but her own soul tells her she must be in this town.
TJ has returned home after his retirement from the NFL. He loves his close knit family and his job as Coach and teacher at the local high school. The only thing missing his the desire to fall in love and create a family.
TJ and Katrina meet in an unexpected way and moments keeps springing up for these two. Katrina has envisioned so many of these moments and knows she is here for a reason. These two realize that they are intertwined in more than just a physical attraction and realize that true love and soulmates may be real.
This story isn’t only about finding your soulmate. It is finding your family and who you are meant to become. I love how the storyline flowed and I was pulled into the hopes, dreams and desires of all the characters. Lovely story!

I loved this book. It is a darker spin on Alice in Wonderlond. Evaline wants to be the next great detective (Sherlock Holmes) and practice her magic. Her dad wants her to have nothing to do with and wants her to marry the guy next door who is 10 years older than her, when she has her eyes on an old friend Delbert. When a mysterious person comes and ask for help to get back an artifact, she is intrigued. She dives into an unknown world, where she discovers Dr. Death. Can she find the artifact and save the mirror world before it’s too late? I cannot wait for the next book to find out what happens next.

This was uniquely crazy! I enjoyed the dark humour and madness surrounding the eccentric characterisation. There’s suspense, sci fi, and some slightly horrific scenes but it was captivating. This book has a very relatable, strong, young female main character. She is given the opportunity to assist Nikola Tesla in his secret lab, just after his last assistant has been found dead. She finds Tesla a strange man, but wants to work with him for a good recommendation. She takes it upon herself to help solve the murder of his previous assistant and find some missing paperwork. Good twist at the end. I really enjoyed this book.

This was an excellent story! Elle is so relatable, and her reactions to finding out that she’s literally not from this world is intriguing. I adore her headstrong personality and the way she faces the new situations that could have other people completely losing their minds. Locan intrigues me with his Warrior mindset and focus on duty, even as he feels connected to Elle. His protectiveness is so complete, and it makes me want to know him, but also the ones he knows. Traylon makes me laugh with his carefree attitude, even as he focuses on what he knows he needs to do. The characters are so interesting and the world the author built is amazing and I wish I could see it through my own eyes instead of through theirs.

Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres, especially books focused on the WWII era. Although I mostly read books that are focused on the Jewish side of WWII, I have recently enjoyed reading books that focus on other groups that were forced to live through this war without being Nazis. This was the first book that I have read from this particular author, although the topic is one of my favorites, but I found the writing to be vivid, interesting, and well researched. The characters touched me and I felt like I was in the story. This was a quick read for me, but definitely a worthwhile one. I recommend books like this to everyone, regardless of where they live. I would read another book from this author in the future.

This historical mystery is different than my normal eveyday reads (romance) but I really enjoyed it. It was nice diving into a mystery because I had figure out what was happening along with the main characters. There’s alot of elements to thus story, theres mystery and secrets and some twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and well… you can’t forget MURDER. This was one I’d recommend if you like historic mysteries!
I liked this authors writing style alot so I will be looking for more books by them in the future!

Ahhh I want to read it again! And I probably will! I loved Kiss A Thief so much! I couldn’t put it down. It wasn’t what I was expecting going in or even as I started to read it. Which is what kept me intrigued. Mia and Dylan are wonderful! I love their character development throughout. This book is hot, sexy, happy, sad, and full of betrayal. Yet the characters feel like they could be your everyday friends.
Mia, an art gallery curator, is struggling to make ends meet, while doing something she loves. After meeting an alluring stranger, that has her captivated, at an art opening, changes her life. She falls and she falls hard, but what happens when trust comes into play?
Dylan, one of the wealthiest bachelors in London, has been caught off guard by a beautiful stranger. He has to see her again, what he doesn’t realize at the time, is she is so much more. He trusts her implicitly, until he doesn’t. Breaking her heart and his own in the process.
Will Mia & Dylan find their way back to one another?
Will he ever believe she had nothing to do with the theft?
I want to be the friend in Mia’s corner while she’s in turmoil dealing with the fallout of being the number 1 person of interest. I want to lash out on her behalf. I’ve become so invested. I just hope everything works out in the end.

This was my first book by this author and it was so good! From the first chapter I could tell this book was very well written. The descriptive details that are in this book helped me picture the scenes very easily. The time jump between the 1940s and early 1990s were transitioned very smoothly. I enjoyed reading this book a lot!
