The Girl Who Escaped by Mark Nolan – Review by Beverly Finnie
The Girl Who Escaped by Mark Nolan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I was enraptured by The Girl Who Escaped. The author kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I have love/hate relationships with crime dramas. I either love them or hate them, no in between. This one I loved! I couldn’t put it down. Keeping me interested even when not feeling well, reading it cover to cover in one go.
Angie, a victim who has been convicted of a crime she didn’t commit. Ends up arrested and in a psychiatric facility due to her traumas. She feels she let her bestfriends down when she ran for her life, because it meant the end of theirs. Now it’s time to prove her innocence. With the help of FBI agent Brenda as well as Jake and his dog Cody, she’s on a mission of redemption and closure.
Zarin is after her. She injured him greatly and got away. He can’t let her live to see another day. Unfortunately the Prince wants her for himself. So now he’s on the mission to get her back and bring her to him.
The author weaves a wonderful story of a girl’s redemption and survival. While also shedding light on one thing a lot of young women fear. Kidnapped for trafficking. This book was well written and keeps you interested the whole way through. If you like crime dramas, give this author a shot! I know I will look into other books by this author in the future, I’m definitely a fan!
