This is a well written and intense book that blurs the line between Thriller/Police Procedural and Romantic Suspense. The characters are great and the details that the author describes had me imagining I was there. The plot had me sitting by the edge of mt seat.
Bobbi Wallace is a woman that straddles the world of high society and the NYPD. She is a detective who primarily work to solve a long string of brutal sexual murders caused by one man who hunts to release the soul of his voodoo queen she is also fighting and old lover with an obsession.
Can she find the killer before he kills again? Can she overcome the obsession of the old lover? Will Bobbi be caught in the middle or will she be able to walk away unscathed?
