DAAAYYYUMMMMMM! What an ending! I have been a fan of this series since I picked up the first one. Each additional book only made me love these characters more. I wondered how to become a member of one of these families. I am still willing.

Nico is quiet and thoughtful. Most would overlook him as just another meathead enforcer, but he is so much more than that. He is a tech-wiz. He is loyal. He is brutal when needed. When the missing Mia Tucci points a gun at his chest and makes him an offer he wants to refuse, Nico becomes so much more.

Mia has been on the run for a while. She is trying to outrun a fate worse than death for her, marrying a man she despises to better her father’s standing. Most of her life her father had her studying the other families and Mia developed a crush on Nico, even stealing intel photos of him. Now, she sees Nico as her only option not only to escape her family and the awaiting fate but to help her correct some wrongs her family has committed. The only gamble in her entire plan is getting Nico to agree.

This chapter fantastically rounds out the series. And, nicely segues into the spinoff brother series. I love these characters, their fierce loyalty to their family and friends, the strong female badass characters, the devotion to their spouse, and the laughter they enjoy. I would join the Verretti family, too. I am already hooked and awaiting that series. Although I think you could add one more to this one by giving Tony a love interest. Think about it. Mostly, I just don’t want to say goodbye to these characters. I love them.

This last installment was magical and intense and ahhh-mazeeee-zing. Thank you, Amy!!!!
