Meet the Author: T. Christensen has been a lifelong resident of South Dakota. Being at home with her family is always her favorite place to be. T. Christensen has been addicted to reading since she read her first romance novel in middle school. Reading a romance novel is still the best reward at the end of the day.

Synopsis: “Her blood heated back up as she got over her shock at his Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality.” Greer sacrificed it all for her mother’s happiness. Her senior year of high school she packs up her apartment and moves into a mansion with her rich stepbrother Beckett and her mom’s Fiancé David. Joining a new elite private school full of mean girls was not what Greer signed up for. Beckett, a hot-headed football god is determined to push Greer away. Her and her mother are not welcome in his home, and he will be damned to let them gouge his dad for his money.

Reader’s Thoughts: This was my first time reading a novel written by T. Christensen and WOW, this one did not disappoint me. I sat down and read this in one afternoon. No matter how much I needed to get done, I just couldn’t put this one down. The characters were relatable in so many ways. The storyline was realistic portraying the “mean girls” as what I truly believe mean girls look like in today’s society.
In the beginning I wanted to slap some sense into Beckett, he was such a jerk! Then I found myself silently yelling at Greer for allowing Beckett to act the way he did. I found Greer’s enthusiasm for her mother’s happiness touching. For a young teenage girl to be so concerned about her mother’s happiness made my heart sing. And David, he instantly won me over. His threats to Beckett made me shout out loud. I can’t wait to read more from this author. I would love to see novels written around the stories of the side characters: Lexi and Pepper and there stunning football stars.

Favorite Quote: “Even though she fights me every step of the way, Greer makes me want to slay all her dragons. She has a quiet dignity no one can take away from her.
