I can’t lie. This book was rough to get through. I did get this one free on Amazon, and to me it felt like there was little to no editing. The story was good, it just wasn’t well executed. I feel like a lot was lost in translation. It’s like it wasn’t fleshed out enough. I really struggled getting through this one. I wanted to love it because the synopsis was very interesting but I just couldn’t. Maybe it was an off reading day but I just didn’t enjoy this one like I would.

Blood Sector is my first introduction to the V-Clan series. I loved this book! At first, I didn’t quite understand some of the terminology such as knot but it was easy to understand once Quinn was found by Kieran. I love the dynamic between them. I found the process of how their wolves came out intriguing, such as purring or seeing them in the eyes. The secret of why Quinn originally left kept me reading till the end. The book was a fast read. I can’t wait to read more of the V-Clan series books!

I thought the book was well written. I didn’t realize how many books would be in this series. It was a quick read and I thought it was pretty good But not sure I’d be able to read 5 more installments of this. It was very fast paced. The main character is one tough cookie and is not to be messed with. The book confused me a bit and I just really wasn’t into it but that’s my fault. The author did a great job.

I’ve always loved books by this author and this one is no different. The attraction and passion between Quinn and Kieran is off the charts. Kieran is a strong alpha who’s been chasing his betrothed for a century. Finally catching her, he intends to never let her go. Although he can be full of himself and dominant, he is also tender and cherishes her. I absolutely loved him!! Quinn is a strong Omega princess, heir to her throne. She is smart but has many secrets. She propositioned Kieran to save her sector then ran knowing it was in safe hands. Her time on the run is up, Kieran found her. Can she get away or will he punish her for her disobedience? The book hooked me from the beginning and had me flying through the pages. It’s been awhile since I read a story about werewolves so I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Max Logan was a soldier who had to go to rehab after his duty. He’s always wanted a family with love and not loneliness anymore. Skylar is a single mom barely making it by with her daughter Maddie hoping for someone to love. Maddie hears about her mom needing a ‘male companion’ and thinks Max is the guy. This was a great listen with love, drama, family, and friendship.

This was a good read that kept me entertained throughout its entirety. This story is a second chance one with romance, hurt, emotions, great characters and some twists and turns. As I read this book both Wesley and Addison’s characters grow as they get older. I was rooting for them especially after everything they have been through and knowing they were such good friends when they were younger. I don’t want to give anything away, so I will just say that I recommend this book, it made me laugh and shed a few tears as well. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

I thought I knew what to expect but there were plenty of twists to keep me guessing. I’m ready for the next book!

In A Present for the Volcano, Conifer, a T-Rex and Spike, an ankylosaurus, are viewing the beautiful sight of nature but see a volcano that looks very unhappy. They decided to work together to make it a gift, which in turn, makes the volcano happy.
In Saving Conifer’s Eggs, Spike finds Conifer guarding her nest of eggs to let her know that there is a forest fire happening around them. They need to find a safe place to keep Conifer’s eggs so they work together in order to find that spot.
The illustrations in these books done by Nicolas Milano are very beautifully done! I love the stories too, how they use science to solve a problem.

This is the first book in the Agent Red: Teegan Stone Series. This book is incredibly fast paced and easy to read. It was also filled with many twists and turns that kept me guessing iwth each page I turned. It ended too quickly for me, I found myself wanting more. I’m glad that this is in a series because I want to continue to learn about Teegan and her teammates. Teegan wakes up chained to a bed with no recollection of how she got there. She is concerned about her family and very confused. However, as those who abducted her soon reveal, her family is very safe. Rather, it is her they are after. Not in the typical way that a person who is generally abducted is after some one. Rather, they want to show her who she used to be. She used to be a member of an elite organization in the Navy who was in charge of protecting America. Teegan walked away from this life to devote herself to her family. She was tired of the danger, the death, the killing, the espionage. She is being asked to continue a mission that she has botched and this means awakening a piece of her that has been dormant for a long time. Throughout this book, we watch Teegan struggle with her desire to be a family mom, to reclaim her old life, and who to trust. I definitely recommend it!

This is an overall lovely story about characters finding their way to their chance at a happy family. The characters were easy to relate to and were so good because the author didn’t try and hide their flaws. I loved the way the author dealt with the issue of PTSD. It felt like a sensitive approach but one that still conveyed the seriousness of the issue.
I enjoyed experiencing the book in the audio version too as it really helped me to visualise more everything happening. It took no effort to be pulled along by the story and it was great to have it playing. This is a wonderful book that I thoroughly enjoyed.

This is my first audio book by this author which I enjoyed listening to. I enjoyed how the narrator brought the story to life using different tones. This is an engaging story about healing and how a child can help that healing. I enjoyed how the narrator made the characters realistic and they made the story for me. They are connectable and strong. This is an easy and entertaining story to listen to. There is great growth of the plot throughout. Their chemistry is great and you can feel that through the narrator. This is a great story to listen to on my way to work and back. I highly recommend this audiobook.

This is the fourth book in this series and oh my gosh what a read it was! After each book I say that was my favourite and then this extremely talented author brings out the next and I say it all over again. Master Romano, he had me falling in love with him from the very first page! I absolutely loved his character. I loved him and Raven together! They were so much fun to read about. Raven was an awesome female lead – I loved her! The pull between the two characters was so real and I could feel that as a reader. I would absolutely recommend reading this series in order to get the best reading experience of these characters. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

This was a wonderful read and one that I really enjoyed. This is also the first book that I have read by this author and will definitely not be the last. There were some good twists and turns in the story which made it even more exciting and entertaining. I am really excited to read the next books in the series and would definitely recommend this book to others.

Heat level is off the charts with this book! Oh my gosh what a read!! Phew! I absolutely LOVED this story – I have to admit when I read the synopsis I was hooked already, it sounded incredible and it was! To be honest I should have known this book was going to be amazing having read a few books by this author previously and I’ve never been disappointed! I’m pretty sure that this one is my favourite from her I have to say! From beginning to end I could not turn the pages fast enough and I certainly couldn’t put it down. The passion and chemistry between the two main characters was just amazing – hypnotising at times! This book had everything amazing characters with a great storyline – 100% worthy of the 5 starts I give it and I absolutely must read the first book in the series!

With this memory loss, he forgets about the girl he loves, Addison. Addison, however, over the 10 years, has never fallen out of love with Wesley, but was told by his mother to never see him again. She followed his career and even moved to LA to be near him. Addison feels responsible for Wesley almost losing his life. However, one day they are face to face again. Wesley feels a pull towards her and doesn’t understand why. However, Addison knows it will never last because she is scared to tell him the truth. What happens when a relationship that was amazing, rekindles, but under false pretenses?
I really enjoyed this story. The story unfolded little by little which made you just want to keep on reading. I also really loved the characters. Wesley was sweet, caring, and down to earth for a person who is famous. Addison, I felt for her but also thought she was impulsive too, in a way. You felt the love she had for him, but can’t believe someone would do everything she did when she believed there was no future – a little crazy. However, I enjoyed watching them develop and have intimate moments! I like that this love story had a different plot than many others I have read.

Agent Red is one of the most powerful suspense books I’ve read this year. Teagan is just trying to live her life and all of a sudden she is sucked back into her prior life as a spy. I found the story to contain lots of drama, adventure, suspense and mystery. It had everything I like to find in a book to keep me intrigued, and I was from the beginning. I found the characters well-written. I felt like I was reading about real people. They were very relatable. This was a fantastic book that I believe will enjoyed by others. I highly recommend it.

This author has written this steamy and fast paced story. Her characters are easy to fall in love with. Maddie may be 7, but she is a typical kid with questions to be asked. While this is a romance story, I think it goes deeper with having PTSD in the story. Second chance is just that second chance at love, second chance at making a better life for all involved. I must say this author has pulled out all the stops in this story. I was hooked before chapter one ended.

These were the cutest books! I always love Lois Wickstrom’s work, and these are no different. I read them to my kids and then we were able to spark a discussion about what happened. We talked about what they thought helped the situation as well as what could be done to make it better and worse. I think it is short enough to keep everyone’s attention especially with the beautiful artwork. For some kids it helps start conversations about teamwork and what to do when you’re with someone who doesn’t agree with you. We really loved these and will recommend them to everyone with kiddos!

Both books, A Present for the Volcano and Saving Conifer’s Eggs were so cute. They are very short which I think its perfect for children as they usually don’t want to sit still too long, especially to read. The art is beautiful, it captured my attention right away. In both of the books, Conifer and her friend Spike argue about little things but, in the end, they work together to solve whatever trouble they are in. They are both great friends to each other, and it shows kids how friends can be different and have different ideas, or feelings but as long as they listen to each other and work together, things will work out.

Jake is a great book written beautifully. I loved everything about this book and didn’t want to put it down. Looking forward to the rest of the series which I hope to read soon. Jake and Lauren are both lovely characters and couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. They know eachother through friends but never even thought about dating until they are both set up on a blind date. Blind date is actually what it sounds like. They meet in total darkness, eat in darkness and don’t see eachother at all through their meal. Right away they seem to hit it off but something is holding Lauren back from. They continue talking to eachother online using the dating app until one day they find out who the other is. It couldn’t be more perfect. Loved this book! 5 + stars

I love books that make you think and your mind wander as you read through them, This book did just that. I felt a lot for the characters and the story that surrounded them. The book immersed me and intrigued me!
First off I loved the eerie sense of this book. Bax was such a character that had a lot of heart that you could easily feel for and connect to.through out the story. His friends were connectable as ewll,. I loved how realistic the story was and how easily you can picture yourself in the characters shoes. Something else I loved was the wish making part of the story, we are all vulnerable at times, and sometimes something as a wish granting thing can change it for the better or very much fool us and take advantage. The story was gripping and held me tight as I read. Its something everyone would enjoy I would say. I personally loved it!
The book was such a good and compelling read. I was hooked and immersed all the way through. I could not put this don. Needless to say, a very much high recommendation from me for this must read book!
I have really enjoyed reading this Cozy Mystery. It’s such a cute series. Just when I thought Addison Moore and Bellamy Bloom couldn’t top the previous books, they bring their A game and knock the ball out of the park with this one….. This is my favourite book yet, and what makes it even better is that Lottie and the rest of the gang are back, and the crossover is fantastic. While there isn’t as much drama surrounding Jasper’s ex Camila, there is a lot more drama when wives are revealed….. I honestly don’t know how to put into words how amazing this book is. Plus, now that Bizzy and Leo aren’t the only ones with special abilities (like reading minds), it makes it all the more special when they do. Thanks to Mack (the mayor/ex-bestfriend), Bizzy is hosting a seniors bake off at the Inn, and it appears to be going well, judging by the turnout.

Be careful what you wish for. Bax wanted something remarkable to happen in his life. A creepy looking homeless guy gave him a ring and now all kinds of drama is coming into his life thanks to the Jinn. This is quite the entertaining story. For YA Fantasy, it will keep them enthralled. I couldn’t put it down. I had to finish it in one night. It was that good. I love how the young man was attached to him family. He wanted to do the right thing but still messed up. He tried to to fix things. The tone of the story keeps you interested and involved. The characters are very well-written. Overall, its a terrific story that anyone who reads it will enjoy. I’ll be passing it on to my friend’s son.
This is the first book in the Billionaires Blind Date Series. This is a story about finding love in someone you never expected to find. I love the author’s twist on the blind date thing where the characters have to use their senses other than sight to connect with another person. I like this idea because you can really fall for the person and not the way they look.
Jake is a very wealthy man. He has women throwing themselves at him but most of them are just after his money. After his past failed relationship he’s about ready to give up on finding a woman who wants him for the person he is and not the money in his bank.
Lauren has a dislike for rich men. Everyone that she knows think that women should be grateful for their time and attention and Lauren hates that. All she wants is nice respectable man.
So when Jake and Lauren get thrown into a blind date party in the dark neither of them know who they are connecting with but the connection is definately there.
When all is revealed Lauren is concerned that people will think she’s with Jake for his money and no matter how much Jake reassures her that he knows that’s not the case it puts strain between them. Added pressure comes when Lauren’s mother wants Jake to give her money. What happens next is a whirlwind story as Jake and Lauren try to protect their growing relationship while silencing the doubters that want to see them fail. Dinosaur Friends: A Present for the Volcano This is a very cute book of friendship and science. Conifer and Spike are two friends that see a volcano erupt. They are trying to get out of the area. Spike has an idea. They try to improve the volcano’s mood with a gift. Making a “necklace” for the volcano ends up saving them from the lava. The story involves dinosaurs, volcanos and rocks. What more could kids ask for. Parents will see the kids get some fun out of science reading it. It’s a win win. The illustrations are bright and colorful. Bite size text. It’s the perfect book for storytime.

Again, the kids are learning science in a fun way as they read about the dinosaurs trying to figure out how to get out. A win win because my grandson loved this book. He’s pretty black/white in his thinking so he took it a step further: how can they float? They are very heavy. These books are really good for starting conversations.

WOW WOW WOW!! C.A. King has done it again! I was floored by this novel! When I was reading the synopsis before purchasing the book, I was drawn to the story because it was giving me “Harry Potter” novel vibes and I was not disappointed! This book was revolving around Makayla, who is staring her first year in school learning potions and how to become a grave digger. She is met with many obstacles as well as trials in the story. I read this book in one sitting and was so entranced I did not put it down once. Reading this story was wonderful as it was original and such a great read. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next books and see where she and her friends go and what they learn or accomplish. This book was so cute, original and just such a fun read! The story is around blind dates but not in the typical sense of blind dates that we are accustomed too, but where the people meet in darkness and get to talk/interact where they cannot see the person. This version of blind dates would be something that I would enjoy being a part of as this way you met and fall for the person not their appearance. Jake is one of the main characters who has had a bad go of dating as the women who chose him only want him for his money. On the other hand, Lauren does not have a lot of money nor does she like rich men as she does not want to be thought of as a gold digger. When they met sparks fly but will it be enough for them to stay together through different trials and tribulations? This book was wonderful and the authors’ writing style was wonderful! I cannot wait to read more books written by this author as well as more books in the series.

Ok first I will say that going on a blind date in a completely dark restaurant is odd but kind of intriguing at the same time. This book was great. Jake wants to find someone to love him for him, not his money. Lauren is always working with no social life to speak of. Their friends set them up on a blind date at the blind date restaurant. When Lauren finds out that her date is her boss’s friend whom she has met previously she is concerned. The last thing she wants is to seem like a gold digger. Will they hit it off? Will he give her a chance knowing she is just an assistant? I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

This book is book one of the series. I’ve never read anything by this author but I enjoyed this book.
Jake hasn’t had any luck with dating. Which is understandable when everyone knows who Jake is and how much money he has. It’s hard to know who is just using you for what you can do for them. During poker night, Jake’s friends talk him into not giving up and instead they are all going to use a blind date service but they can’t pick their own dates. Jake doesn’t really want to but figures he has nothing to lose. Lauren just wants to find a nice, respectful man to share a life with. She’s got a painful past and rich men who think they own the world are kind of a trigger for her. After some convincing from her bosses (who happens to be Jake’s friend Cade) sister, Catherine she decides to give blind dates a try, even if just to get her off her back. Neither Lauren or Jake expected these dates to ho anywhere but they click. What will happen when Jake and Lauren learn more about the other?
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the premise and the characters were easy to like. It was well written and I can’t wait to read the next book.
