Just One More Egg: A Science Folktale (Science Folktales)Just One More Egg: A Science Folktale by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was such a cute story with some great illustrations that showed up well on a Kindle. Young kids of all ages will enjoy this sweet story about acceptance and not judging someone based on looks. The mama bird was so sweet to keep the baby cuckoo egg and not treat the baby any different, despite what her negative neighbor kept suggesting. The author did great job of explaining the science of how the cuckoo birds leave their eggs in other bird’s nests in a fun way for kids to understand. I definitely recommend this book for folks who want to help kids learn more about birds and compassion.
