This book turned out to be much more emotional than I expected when I first started reading. It really feels like you go on the full journey with this character. She experiences so much and you can watch her development right from page one. I wasn’t sure which way this book was going to go but it definitely became a feel good Christmas story.
This is an author I have only recently become familiar with and so far I am enjoying her work. The book is well written and has a nice steady pace. It was easy to engage with and I wanted to see how things would turn out. This is a thoroughly enjoyable book.
