Super sweet and quirky book. At the beginning it is a little on the slow side, but it does pick up midway and is such a lighthearted pleasant story to read. The main female character Rhia is everything a Royal shouldn’t be. She is loud, insanely tall for a female, and most of all messy. Her town, where her father is the mayor, has not paid taxes to the King of Wales and now he is setting a deadline. Not only is he setting a deadline, but he also demands that Rhia marry his sixth son, Emerys. She is pressured by her father to sway the prince into letting them not pay the owed debt. She is frustrated and does everything in her power to make it a horrible situation instead of coming together with the prince to save her town. Unfortunately, they have a few run ins with the Wildmen, who come and steal anything they may have. After trying deeply to ignore her feelings for the prince, she is put in a predicament where she might not only lose her town, but also the man she loves.
